Yeah, I have noticed of all the places I have been in this state, for some reason the hottest girls seem to be in the greater Parkersburg area!

Yeah, I may head to the track. I don't know if I will have anything done to the Tib by then or not. I have some work to do on the WS6- install new NGK Iridium plugs, MSD Superconductors, March underdrive pulley (All here waiting to be installed!), and I would like to get a set of SLP Loudmouth. If I have a little dough leftover I may throw it into the Tib!

I wish I knew more people up here in Pburg to hang out with. I cruise a little, but really don't know where everyone hangs out. I don't know if import guys think domestic guys won't associate with them or vice versa or what.

There are some in Marietta, but I figure most of the people I know from there already have there rides put away for the winter. I have a friend up the street with a modded 03 Cobra that he has already taken insurance off of and put away until spring time.

sadly, i wouldnt know anything about it. all the pretty chics get the heck outta ohio as soon as they possibly can.



i had my car at the dealer today to use a trim tool and it was SOOOOOOOOO funny......... everyone, even the techs, kept coming over checking out my car. that was so funny. all the customers who walked by came over too. i love the attention it gets. i think everyone looks at it. i had this one guy literally stop in traffic and look at my car....... at a green light while i was sitting at a red waiting to make a left. now that kinda attention just makes me smile.

The thing i LOVE about this car is that for all the crap it takes from the "racing" crowd, (not fast enough, underpowered v6, it's a Hyundai, my v-tech is better.....sloooowwww.....) here i am in southern california....the "land of cars", you see everything down here (I saw a porsche carrera gt in newport yesterday--it was silver, very nice) yet this thing STILL stands out. Surrounded by G35's or 350Z's or M3's, giant trucks, whatever....the Tib still gets a lot of attention and yes, girls seem to love it.
I read a lot of stories on here about how people rev their engines at peoples tibs, but that never happens to me, it's disappointing really. So many drivers are so confused to what it is, that they don't even try. And i'll be the first to tell any of them that it's slow....but all in all that's why I got the car, because I don't care about the racing part of it, and it now looks so nice that I can be the attention whore all my friends knew I was years ago.

 

I really don't mind what people in the "race" crowd say...when you get all the attention this car does...I think that says it all! I mean, my friend that has a modded 03 Cobra (500rwhp) always tells me how much he loves the way these car look!

i was at the vancouver downtown parked on the street and i was in the car waiting for my gf to get some bubble tea.

and one guy came up to me and asked me what car it is.

so i said it's hyundai tiburon and he said it looks really good...

i haven't noticed ppl always look at my car, but my gf said a lot of ppl watchin my car while i driving

oh and another gf who is jap said she loves how it looks

Yup agree. In the UK, these are quite rare cars, especially in black. I keep mine real clean and it ALWAYS turns heads, where ever I am. I have a nice gf, so the fact girls come running is no bonus to me, but she always spots all the people who look, especially when going thru town. Fantastic car, wont ever sell it, unless the newer versions are better.

The lines on our cars are pretty sexy. I am all about power & speed, but it has to look good as well. Thats one of the main reasons that I bought my Tib as well as with my WS6. You can have 600hp in a car, but if it looks like s**t...

 

Everywhere you look you see Celicas and Civics, but I've noticed when I am out driving how many girls stare at my Tib. I think its wicked looking, but the reactions have really astonished me! Has anyone else noticed this?

Probably cause their tired of seeing the same old thing and getting same old attitude from drivers who think their stuff is the S***.

It's funny actually, on all 3 of my previous vehicles I tinted the windows within a week of having them...but for some reason I've had my Tib for almost 4 months and haven't done it yet. Although part of that is the work I've done on the interior (well just the painted trim).

 

Oh yeah, My car gets looks from all types. Some ppl are dumb lemme tell ya. There was a couple girls lookin at my car in a Quick Check by me and I heard one of them say to her friend,"OMG that car is hot, what is that a Porsche?" LOL. I should of told her yeah it is, want 2 go 4 a ride? lol
