oh man this is why you PM one of us instead of making a thread about what has been discussed numerous times.

read the V6 F/I thread i can guarantee everything is in there you will want to know as far as install i believe theres a movie from importshark that goes through how to install the S/C also in good detail

Tuning is another thing though you can't do it yourself judging on your knowledge (no offense , i can't do it either)

Anyways go to V6 F/I for all your answers if you have any more questions after that you have my PM number =)

what do you mean why did i post that? the assasin is the way to go if youre gonna be getting a supercharger. Why mess with smaller kits when you know once you get boosted it dont stop there. might as well go for the gold.
Without factoring in supporting mods/ the Ops goals/ and possibly money for a built block if things go south it is not a valid recommendation to just say

Throw an Assassin on it

ive spoke to dean (DJtibby) personally every day mostly about going S/C hes not looking for anything to radical around 230 WHP and thats about it. Bakerking already does work with his smaller charger and its safe on a stock block although he is now built because he blew something without monitoring the tuning with the Uego i believe.

Saying to throw an assassin without mentioning all the risks of doing so is a dangerous recommendation in itself , thats what me and heratik where talking about.

Well thats good to hear but by your OG post it said nothing about supporting mods until now, therefore Stuff may not always go wrong but not recommending any supporting mods like me and heratik where talking about is a recipe for disaster simple as that.

As you mentioned in your last post you bought an alky kit, i bet you have a tuner, i bet you either know how to tune or know a lot about F/I hence the OP does not.

This is why we usually answer questions about F/I with other questions that relate to the OP's goals is the point i was trying to get at.

Going around saying do this and that without back up information isn't necessarily a bright idea.

Thats why after this was posted i had contacted dean and told him all about the supporting mods, running safely, making sure he had a backup DD just in case and money for Alky, MM, Tuner, Get it tuned by someone since he didn't know how to, also install

After factoring in all these costs and What IF's? Dean has decided not to go supercharged at this moment.

Its all about what the OP poster wants to do and what they can afford, and if they plan on supporting the blower with the necessary upgrades to run safely, plus the knowledge of the OP or the willing to learn how to maintain it.

If these questions arent answered then you can have a nice paperweight if something were to go wrong.

the point im trying to make is

Recommendations need to come with all viable options and other questions for the person looking at a certain product with back up plans.

not just throw this on and get clutch/flywheel and your good to go.

this thread = worthless without cash... which is probably the situation it's in.
Haha good ol valk

Yeah after speaking with dean he invested in springs/struts, headers, intake, i think exhaust also instead of 1500 on the S/C

his tibs in the shop getting work done now

Definately, but if that kid really wants to get boosted and not spend money on supporting mods then hes better off reading a couple books and learning about how f/i works. I know he made the right choice going with the things he bought instead of the sc. Good for him. As for the other guy under you.. Its a stock block, but i put some wrench time into it...

assasin sc kit...
tri flow 90mm throttle body
stage 2 cams
adj cam gears
2.7" sc pulleys
coolant crossovers
630cc injectors
alki kit
stage 4 clutch
new flywheel
plus other minor mods

I realize its all talk now but when i get my new time slips this spring they be posted and ill be sure to send you a pm reminding you to check it out. I bought this car with existing mods so dont think it was all me.. blame the master mechanic jason who started with work in progress.
Exactly my point the best questions are answered with questions about how much do you know what your getting yourself into as far as supercharging and turbocharging or even just wrenching on the motor yourself.

This was my point in the beginning.

NIce setup also do you have any pictures of it?
