Well i finally got some new wheels. They are Motegi racing sp5's. I like them, but i originally ordered black with a polished lip. Got there today when they said they were in and they showed me gunmetal ones. After confronting them they made a couple call's trying to get the right wheels from the vendor and the vendor said the black one's were discontinued lol. So at this point i am wondering why they vendor didn't tell us this during the original order. Instead they sent us the gunmetal ones. After seeing them on the car i agreed to keep them. I think they look ok. I probably should have went with 18's i just didn't want the car sitting up even higher. For some reason my drop with the dropzones is wierd. The rear is nice and tucked and the front sit's like an inch higher. ... .i hate it lol. Well on to the pic. .... it was just a quick one i snapped i should have got a close up.

Next on the mod list is a front CF splitter, GT tech CF sideliners, 15% tint, and F/L headlights.. ...

Very nice. Gunmetal > Black any day!

Looks so much better then if they were black. You can't appreciate black on black IMO, it all blends in too well and you can't appreciate the body/rim design. This gunmetal looks amazing though, so clean, looks exotic or something. Exotic > Tuner for your car at least.

lol thanks guys. I may keep them gunmetal i am not sure yet. I do like the gunmetal, but i think they would look good black also. The only thing that is bugging me is i have a bit more wheel gap in the front. I wish the front drop matched the back. But i would have this issue no matter what color they are lol.

anyone wanna do that sig for me lol.. . . .

I'll see what I can do. I just upgraded to Windows 7 and I don't have all my art software reinstalled yet.
If you wana go black go black it's your style, your car. Everybody is talking about how black/polished is played out well So was gunmetal/polished late 90's early 00'. Just do what you like that's all that matters. Other than that car looks great.
:3_saai: I guess not everyone realizes 04TIBURONGT lives down the road from me and I am just giving him sh!t.

I have had black 18's with a polished lip on the car before. They look good i just didn't like how high the car sat. Which is why i went with 17's. The gunmetal is really starting to grow on me though. It really compliments the CF well and will work great with my future plans. I can always powdercoat them if i change my mind.

I think one thing that is making it look bad is my drap. My rear is nice and tucked the way i want it, but the front still has a decent gap. Which drives me crazy and i am trying to think about how i should solve this issue. I have dropzone springs right now by the way.

not as low as 17's with low pro lol. If i had a kit it would be differen't. It would make 17's look tiny, but since i am not kitted and only have plan's to do a splitter kit i think 17's will be fine.
