I was cruising through an intersection - I had the green. Some moron ran the red. Due to my quick reflexes, I swerved to miss him, but _just_ caught the back end of my passenger side bumper. Nice scrape there now on my new paint

 

yep first day i got it... went to best buy and came out with a nice little gash in my front bumper.... and then less then a week ago, i believe someone opened their door and put a nice little dent on my side after my door.........

damn ignorant people.

yep, rear ended slow speed so it wasnt bad, just scratches on the left side of the bumper i still got full payment for a brandnew bumper to replace i never got it fixed tho lol.. btw it was a white civic :/

(dec.12) i had a green light and this girl turned into my lane (sigh said "no turn on red") and the shark bit that jetta HARD too......($10k to fix)

2 months ago my car was hit front left, damaging the front Frame( body) stoped at a stop sign procceeded didnt see a car and WAM! my fault of course, 9 grand worth of damage and this was 4 days after I got the new 04 tib gt 6 speed I previously had a 03 i4. But now we got it back and my dads driving it I can only drive it with him in the car now. Its not even fully fixed yet my hood is spaced out differently on the sides, theres a puncture in my door panel the right door sqeaks and the steering feels like Im driving a 1930's car with no steering fluid, this only happens when Im turning out of the driveway ect the car also drags me to the right alittle, but the guy at the body shop is going to fix everything free of charge in a week or 2 when the new door panel comes in, which is very good.

Learned my lesson ! :3_yes: PAY MORE ATTENTION when driving!!!

 

I think I win in small damages here....


-Ok, when I got the car, it already had two scratches on it from the dealer. Never got them fixed.
-After two months of having the car, only hail storm I have ever seen in my life hit jacksonville, left 5 dings on my roof, 4 on my hood, and a couple on my quarter panel.
-3 door dings on passenger door.
-One round ding on left quarter panel.
-Curb rash on 3 rims.
-Rear ended by a Silverado.
-Rear ended by an Impala.

Waiting for my car to be keyed...

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot about the rock that hit my windshield and cracked it, and my left quarter window getting bashed in.

 

I haven't knock on wood but of our Norcal members who have ....Bob, Tom, Carrie, Aaron, Gyrex, Matt (minor) & Reuel (his own doing) lol!

 

someone ran into my PARKED CAR. thank god i didnt have to pay for a penny.... a grand worth of damage.

within first month of owning car-
1. back bumper all scrachted in left corner. i was only gone for 30 mins and when i got back to parking lot i had that. THen about a week later huge scratch about 8 inches and pretty wide was below the backseat window. Then just about a month ago, some stupid kid at school totally went through the stop sign when i had right of way and i couldnt stop in time. I Got about a 3x5 index card size of small scracthes and bumper is rough in those areas. (his whole car was messed up, new struts allignment, headlight,bumper,side panel.)..i would say i have the hyundai curse.

 

it seems everyday someone gets hit. Its simply amazing. The Hyundai Curse

7 times, 5 while parked, once at a red light, once in motion. All are fixed.

 

i lasted over a year without incident.. then i someone decided to run into the rear of my car while stopped at a light.

 

aha mine had $10,000 in damages! :3_saai: the frame was intact, the whole front right was gone! and only 1,500 miles on it! it was a sad thing but its great now! :3_wink: if u want to know i was comming over a crest of a hill and some guy crossed the median on a not so busy street (wasnt payin any attention :3_confuse ) so i tried to dodged him at the last second. everyone said that i did great though the funny thing was that the caddy deville was screwed up more than my car! :3_koning:

 

Does this count? I was in my friend's condo's parking garage when a BMW come speeding out of nowhere and I swerve to miss him but tag the wall enough to rub off some paint.

I havent been in an accedent yet. YET.

I've blew one stop light (g/f distracted me and didnt notice the light changed to RED)...oddly enough no one moved out infront of me....they were there...just didnt pull out til after I blew threw...

cut one guy off badly at a merge lane....had no choice...ran out of room and we going to fast...not to mention I didnt know the road and was unaware of the merge til the last second... He slammed on the brakes and hit the horn hard.. ( I had my signal light on...no excusses...my fault...but he also wasnt slowing down to let me in either... kinda both our faults but more mine than his).....

Had an woman cut me off badly....she just moved into my lane...no signal...no nothing....I did the same as the guy I cut off...one hand on the horn...one foot on the breaks...

i figure its only a matter of time before I hit someone or someone hits me.....I dont really worry to much about parking lots...I park on the dark side of the moon (far end of every parking lot).

 

I was hit in the rear in my silver tib three days after I got it.. not hard enough to cause enough damage to report the accident... I was almost run off the road on a freeway during a caravan to a meet(not a hit though just a close call) And I was Cut off on 59 that ended my silver tib's life.

Now I have the black one and I am (knock on wood) un-hit as of yet

 

Yes i was sitting at a light thois lady had been riding my bumper for a while and when the light went green she stopmed on it and i didnt took it right up the rear not bad damage though come to find out she was late for a movie her friends were at Women i tell yah :3_headsha
