I dont know as I dont think anyone has ever really came across this issue that I have read so far.

 

i thought someone might have shook it loose with bass, i checked hma service. didnt find anything relivant. oh well i'll just have to figure it out i guess.

 

This is sidemirror?

I had to take mine out to put in the LED sidemarker covers. There is a heating element that plugs into it, and if i remember, there is a metal prong that goes into the motor assembly towards the edge.

I don't believe you can "tighten" it, since it is sitting on the motor assembly.

 

my bass vibrates the mirrors most of the time
but never on the highway with normal driving

Most mirror glass for sideviews just pop out, if you can leverage them evenly. With our power mirrors, there will probably be a plug to disconnect or more if you have heated mirrors. I had to replace one on my Celica and my Matrix and they just pulled right out with some effort.

The motor assembly could possibly be loose. You know, like a little play in the motion of the motor. Anyways, to take the glass off, you can basically just pop it off by using a long screw driver and prying it off of the motor base.

And as far as the LED mirror install... if your patient, it'll go fine. All depends on how you chose to wire them up, and how much concern you have with hiding the wiring. I'm not patient, and I don't like visible wires, so my install looks like the car came that way.

 

cool, thanks guys i'll check it out tonight after work, mine was shaking pretty bad, i had to move it to the very inside to keep it from moving. i didnt realize how much i used that mirror until it was facing my door haha.
