ive always thought it was a good 1st car, but i do think after college im gonna need ta take a step up

 

here in vegas I think the oldest person I have seen driving a tib here in vegas was prolly 75, last tuesday. chose not to recruit her.

Who cares, it does not matter as long as you are happy, that's what counts..........I see so many older men then you (very old) driving a Miata or Porche. Just tell your wife it's a hobby of yours, for sure she'll understand.........47, you are still a young pup!!!!!!!!! :3_loveit:

OK..so my wife is busting on me for my recent purchase of my 05 Tib GT.
And of course, I've added a cat back, tuscani emblems, blah, blah, and more goodies to come.
She says, "your an old man in a kid's car". Yup..I'm 46 and going on 47 next week. (I dont think that makes me a bad person!)
I've had many muscle cars in my past..now I wanted something different, styling, gas-saving, and VERY good looking. (NO...not younger girl...I'm talking about the car!!) (Although, that's not a bad idea.) :3_wink:

Nothing wrong with being older. I hope to have nice cars when I'm older. There's no rule saying you have to buy a Buick upon reaching 45

 

I'm 29 and my wife gives me the same sh!t... I tell her at least I'm into a safe hobby/habit... it could be worse I could be at the strip clubs or doing drugs, etc... Instead I'm safe at home "tuning" my car. Great thing about being "older", although I'm not as ancient as you (hehe j/k), is that you can actually afford to get the cool, more expensive stuff for your car .

I'm 41 and I was 38 when I bought the tib. I was driving an SUV before and I hated it. It just wasn't me. I get some flack about the site and the car from men sometimes, but I think it's mostly jealousy that they not only don't have one, but they hate that I am in here talking to all these cute younger men. They feel threatened Which in itself is stupid, because I don't date the car site members. Even so, they get jealous of the time I spend in here. If they would just buck up and get a tib they can come in and play too. :3_vliegen

 

I'm 41 dude and I've always liked tinkering around with my shiznit (lol) If you are on a budget this is a good car to play with IMO. I used to run around in Camaro's for years but alas they are no more. Tell your girl the car keeps you out of SERIOUS trouble and you'll be good to go

45... I was 43 when I got my Tib. Your never too old to play with cars... and you have to wonder why a 40+ year old person can buy a Muscle Car, Hot Rod, or a Truck and fix it up thats ok. Buy a Tiburon and some people think your to old. :3_frusty: So i leave those who think we're to old with this :qleft1:

 

21 here... got the Tib when I turned 18.

As I was walking out of a gas station one time with my 32oz Fountain Drink I see a Carbon Blue Tiburon with 50 Cent blaring inside pull up. Before I get into my car I glance back and see an old dude getting out of the car. I'm like... "WTF... ".

I mean, there isn't an age limit to who drives what, but if I were to look at the guy, my perspective on him would be something like... "Turn that blasted music down you ignorant street punk!!"

 

My first car when I was a teen was a beige on beige 4 door Camry that I inheried from my grandmother. I'm 27 now, and figured this was my last chance to drive omething young nd fun before my wife starts htting me up to have kids. I assume my next car will be minivan
