yep forced is the way to go.

best thing to do for now is to build your suspension.

and get a upgraded high hp clutch. should be a turbo kit released in the near future.

also if your planning for it you can do things like

spark plugs, plug wires, motor mounts, ported lower intake manifold, big bore throttle body. I'd wait on the ported upper for just now. get the clutch in. get the suspension done and by the time your done with all this you should be able to buy urself a turbo.

 

hey...can u post pics of your car..engine bay and all...i dont kno about everyone else, but i still havent seen the engine bay of the 05 to see if there is any difference. Does anyone know?

 

alpine should still fit the '05 no? Id go supercharger and other na stuff...turbos are such a pain in the ass.

 

i myself am going to go with RIPPS s/c setup. puttin down pretty good numbers and they seem tohave very good customer svc and all that jazz. Just have to be patient and wait for the complete finished product

 

I thought the 2005 SE models, which is the V6 6-speed manual, don't come out till later on next year.

I live in Canada. Things are different up here. Like for 05 in canada they changed it from GT (which they called the 6 speed V6 in Canada) to calling it the Tuscani. The engine bay is the same. they just changed a few cosmetic things as far as i am aware of. I just want about 200 wheel hp as as reliable and cheap as possible. any tips?

stage 1 alpine supercharger will get you 200whp.

to do it N/A is extremely painful and time consuming.

 

Oh and i will try and get some pics soon. I just got it and haven't had a chance to get around to that. But yeah i really like the few very slight body changes they have made.

 

Also if i put the alpine S/C on my car will i need to do anything else to the engine??? like to make it safe and reliable? i don't want to blow the engine of a car that is brand new right. Also can i get that s/c shipped to canada?

 

Fuel tuner(Mafterburner or SAFC-II) and clutch for the extra power you're adding on. Exhaust and headers would add some more power, but aren't required.

Yeah I personally like it a lot better. Otherwise i would have saved myself a bit of money and bought one of the 04s that were still left on the lot.

 

They changed the name to Tuscani in 04, not 05. And the 03 GT had a 5sp manual as well (which I got).
Hyundai Canada's website doesn't have the 05 Tiburons... how did you get one?

 

you need brakes too hehe...get the wilwood in teh sponsors gorup buy section! you should consider just eh alpine stage 1, an intake and exhaust, possibly headers, suspension and wheels. that should make u happy for a while

 

thats what I did my my 05, just ordered a stage 1, Hotshots, Injen SRI, and a SAFC II. Should be damn good for now, Borla Catback soon to follow.
