So, that ______ took our money, wont refund it or send the product. I see his "mini sponsor" store is gone-good! well, here is the problem, because he kept contacting me for the longest time(sounding legit), i didn't file my dispute with pay pal till it was to late, i guess that's why you can't be nice or patient with people anymore! So I'm wondering, how many more of you didn't get your money back? or its to late to file with pay pal?
Do you guys think there is something else we can do to get our money back?
Maybe someone knows somebody that lives around I-Kona....someone who can pay him a visit for us all....maybe bring the 5-0 with them and proof of how many people he ripped off?
just a thought...

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

I didn't got my money either, its was too late , however, in the end it was only 15 bucks , so im like whatever...

The lesson learned from all this is that we need to be more careful and personally I'm going to analyze more strictly the vendors and mini sponsors before placing orders in the future

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

i dont think its too late to file a report with paypal... i bought something from spaztix (if any1 has ever head of them) and I didnt recieve my item. after a month or maybe 2 i filed a report with paypal. sometimes paypal will ask for a reciept or something, but they didnt ask me for anything and they gave me my money back within 2 weeks

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

you could find out what other forums he's on and spam the hell out of them, LOL.

i never send money for anything unless the product is produced and in stock. people asking for deposits and the like in "gauging interest" threads and such should be a red-flag around here.

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

I filed a paypal claim last week. But unless he still has funds in his account, we are pretty much all SOL. Like special fx said, it's only 15 bones. But it's the principal. I hate people like this.

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

we need a new rule in the for sale section.
I say have pics of the product/date/ screenname...ready to be shipped. before anyone can sell.
i agree that would be the smart thing to look for with any type of product or seller for that matter so Sh*T like this doesn't happen very much.

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

well, i know its not a lot, i dont care to much...but cause im in Canada, it was like $22..so o well
but yes, we do need some sort of guarantee/ proof of seller and product....like powerseller on ebay....

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

Even if it was just 1 penny that is not the point, I would hunt that guy down if I was you guys. Everytime some scammer is allowed to go on like that only encourages them to do it again.

Stalk him on the net and tell every person on every forum he is on what he did.

Wow you guys are lazy and let people run over you. Hell I should rip you guys off too lol, what a bunch of sheep.

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

they will not do a thing and he will keep on stealing "only $15" from hundreds of people lol.

hell i posted his home address and phone number and a bunch of forums he is still active on that he posted on today but they will not say a word to him cause he might get mad and yell at them! Oh no!!!!

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

I agree with you for once, but as much as I'd like to travel 8 hours and beat the piss out of him and then force him to compete every single order with my foot in his ***, it is not worth 15 dollars...

Re: Ripped off by IKONA!

call his house, tell his parents.

find out where he works, call and harass them and get him fired

call his phone 24/7 and drive him nuts

mail him harassing mail

bomb his email

tell everyone on all his other sites he is selling on what he did.

and so on and so on. looks like to me there are plenty of things to do to him for free.

oh well. looks like he got away with no repercussions from you guys lmao.

I agree with you in the principle that eve if it was a penny...this guy needs to learn his lesson, however, right now to me its not worth the time and effort for "just" 15 bucks ..I have enough headache dealing with my daily job, the university at night and my ex...so when I finally arrive home at 10:00 pm I just want to relax, eat, chill and be happy for the rest of the night , maybe watch some nice Corvette ZR1 videos in youtube or look at some nice babes galleries on the web!! ..not worry about chasing a MF across the boards!

however, if we were talking about a larger sum of money I would definitively be chasing this guy all over the place!! and from this lesson I will be more careful were a put my money even if its a dollar so I don't have to go thru this again!
