well neither of those companys make full catback systems for our cars. i hope your not looking at autozone to weld a muffler on to stock piping and then throw on stainless steel tips :(

i am jk

but really, if your looking to do your exhaust save a little more money and get the whole system i GUARANTEE you will be 1000% happier with your decision :) i went with obx, and i know dc, ark borla and a few more make really good sounding exhausts. plus the ypipe joint on our tiburons suck!! good luck tho happy modding

Magnaflow. Had a Mag hi flow cat and resonator on my tin and you wont be happier with that choice

Magnaflow, The Flowmasters have restrictive piping as the Magnaflow is like straight through. Flowmaster uses the restriction to make a certain tone. If you look at a cutout of Flowmaster they have a some V shaped baffles in there to make that certain flowmaster tone, which will then cause some turbulence in there. Magnaflow has a straight through design, but still has a nice tone, i use Magnaflow. If you ever go F/I it will make a pretty big difference.

I have a 2.5 Magnaflow with my custom exhaust and I love it!!! IMO I think is better (less restrictive) than flowmaster. But remmember that you'll have to go custom exhaust because magnaflow doesn't build complete exhaust systems for tibbys. Going custom will save you some $$ than buying an exhaust system.

If you're looking for a GREAT resonator, I recommend the Flowmaster Hushpower II. It features a special proprietary straight through design thats EXCELLENT in quieting things down but also keeping the exhaust flowing quiet nicely.

The main core maintains the specified ID (2.25" for instance) however contains special "conical" perforated core sections and flat baffels and supplemental short conical sections for sound control and hi flow. The sound is AWESOME. I ended up replacing my blown out hi-flow cat with it and I must say, it does a better job and controlling sound and definitely flows as well if not better than the hiflow cat. I'll post up a vid shortly and hopefully get it re-dyno'd to prove i'm still making power.
