So I know SD and I are meeting at the DD off of 40 east. If anyone else in the area would like to meet up with us thats cool. One question though are we meeting at the falls at 10 or the park and rides at 10 and shoot for 11:30-12:00 for the falls?

I will most likely have to work that night but will make a heroic effort at making this meet.

 

Post up if anyone is interested at meeting at the park and ride right off of the Boonsboro / Smithsburgh exit off of 70. Otherwise I will just meet up with everyone at the falls and I agree that we need to have a specified time to meet at the falls.

ok im defantyl in on this meet i just got my navigation system for my car and by its map to the falls it takes me an 1hr 33min to get there so i gotta leave kinda early i guess and im bringing one of my belair tib friends a girl that on here goes by Purpl3QuikSilv3r can anyone id like to find the best place to meet up with most of you headin up or i can just meet everyone there on a map it would go by Cunningham State Park right thanks for the help see everyone next weekend

So my girl bailed on me and my roommate bailed on me and all my other friends r to F ing lazy to get up that early on a sat. I roll solo n dolo state to state (METHOD MAN).
Its all good its still on so i say all people meet up at 10 and we shoot for the falls at 1130 1200. :feedback:

So here is a strory for the books. Me and my boy were coming home after a night at the bar. So im about to pull onto 100 and what pops out right in front of me a DUI check point. So I slam on my breaks screeeeech. At this point im freaking out cause i dont have the time or money to pay for a DUI and I just took a shot of tequila before i left. SO anyway I throw it in reverse and floor it i must if been doing 40 in reverse. I pull off on to 108 as im doing this i put my back end onto a curb "$hit". Im still baffled how the cops did not follow me cause it was pretty obvious what I was doing. So I pull into a mcdonalds parking lot and CHILL for a little bit. Trying to figure out how im going to get out of this one. So I hop back in my car and start to drive off and wouldent you know it my alignment is all messed up. So i took it to the dealership and the are fixing it thank god for warrenty. Anway thought you guys would enjoy that one. Hope you all have learned something from this little tale of mine.:3_headsha

Been checking the long-term weather forecast...next Saturday is partly cloudy high of 52. Not too bad just dress warmly. So I am hearing this right the suggestion is to meet a the Falls at 11:30 - 12:00. Sound off - what time is good for you guys? Lets get this time set. At least a later time will give me time to finish detailing my ride on Saturday morning.

ok check this just brought my 03 tibby from jones junction used cars in october and alreay have to have the cluch, pressure plate, and flywheel replace for something cold start jitter. dealer is not trying to cover this. there reason for not knowing about this is cause it was warm out side when i purchase the car. has anyone have had this problem and is there any sugguestion to due about this. oh ya its a wooping 2286 dollar repair hmmmm....something doesn't sound right

 

No that sounds about right, what you should do is go out and buy a new CM clutch stage 3, fidanza flywheel, and call it a day. That right there will cost you about 800 or so if purchased separately. Install is insanely difficult, look to spend another 800 or so for that.

Dont put the OEM clutch / flywheel back in the 03's.

 

Yeah I had my clutch go at 50K miles on my 2003 Tib, but I think I only paid about $1,200 to get it replaced at the dealer. If it goes again I am going with an after market clutch. I've got 92K miles on my Tib right now, keeping my fingers crossed. I think your quote is way too inflated.

 

Last year everyone hung out, took pics, talked about our cars, and showed off our rides. We ended up hiking up to the falls and getting pizza late in the day in Thurmont at Pizza Hut. Anyone have any other suggestions. I went hiking at Harpers Ferry this weekend and the views are still pretty nice, still leaves on the trees with lots of color. Hope it stays for one more week.

ok guys check this out. took my car back to the dealer today for the check engine and for the same problem i had when i first took it in and they told me it was a jutter...whatever that it is. will like i told before it was a miss fire on the atleast two of the cylinders. spark plugs were done, crispy, not firing, just over all done....lol....after that i went off in the B^&*() and now there going to fix that and clutch but it will be done by this weekend so i will still be at the meet with my brand new clutch good drive to break it in. so if you here alot chirp from my car its cause its a new one lol. thats my excuse for now. By the way does anyone have the factory sub that they don't want? i would be willing to pay for it.

 

My flywheel still chirps, i hate the chatter but I've used heavier gear oil and it helps but during the winter shifting with HEAVY oil sucks.

 

yea the races on saturday night start at parkway right off of 695 and then they meet at the end of 70 to race.

 

I updated the meeting time at the Falls to 11:30 AM - 12:00 Noon. Weather is listed to be a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 50s for the day.

Yo who ever was meeting at the park and ride @70 make it 10 cause 9 is a little early you can get to great falls in an hour n half from ec maybe less. I know sd and i are meeting at dd on 40 we can meet you 70 park n ride around 10ish that way more of us can drive up together let me know what you think:3_confuse .
