Greetings Everyone!
Just joined a few days ago. Glad to be a part of the tribe =)
I'm an owner to a 4-cylinder 2005 Tiburon. I bought the beast used, and up until recently I was positive that it was a genuine Tuscani, but now that I kind of know the difference, I figured out that whoever owned it before just switched the badges on the hood and trunk =/
The problem is - whoever owned the car before me must have been so desperate to pass it off as a Tuscani that he tried replacing anything that says Hyundai on it. And yes, he got to the steering wheel too =D. To most people it would be common sense to order a $3 synth-rubber Tuscani logo on E-bay and simply slap it on top of the airbag cover, but not this dude. It seems as if he tried to physically remove the H via Acid or Ice pick or something.
Long story short my steering wheel is a mess. It repells dates better than its airbag repells face, it makes zero sense with the rest of the badges, and generally looks as if the logo has been showered with acid.
I have a new sticker to go on the steering wheel but I can't apply it because of the wheel's condition. Can anyone give me an advice as to how I could fix this?
Thanks in advance!
