I know what ya mean....i saw the same thing. When i painted them the look damn close but when i put the headlights back together they looked alittle diffrent, That white is hard to match i guess...,but they still look good and i liked the way they came out, i'm happy with them.

Its a good mod that you can do your self. The next thing i want to do is get smoked tail lights!!!!

I really like them but when the clear plastic starts to oxidize it might not look too hot.

 

paint the black around the fog lights and the upper and lower grill.

 

Amber Corner Missing!

I think you should have left the amber corner piece in. It now looks like something is missing. Paint does looks like a good match though.

i had a set of F/L light with the amber piece taken out, IMO it looks better with out them.

just go to any auto parts store and get slyvania turn signal bulbs 1157, they are chome but light up amber

Hey thatnks man!!

I use about 5 LIGHT!!!! coats of paint, and about 3 or 4 LIGHT!!!! coats of clear coat.

Its very important to use light coats!! i had to do one over again because the paint started to run in spots. Its not hard to fix but it add like another hour onto my time.....

 

I like it except I would have used a shade brighter white and then let the amber pieces in... or nightshaded the amber piece. other then that I like the idea! I think some tomato eyelines would rock on that look man

yes! painted headlights are awesome! get yourself some of staw's aggressive eyelines. definately a good add-on and gets rid of the 'nakedness' look. mine are clear cornered too and i think it looks just fine. like everyone said though, get yourself some chrome plated bulbs. it makes everything look clean and as you can notice, u don't have the orange reflection on the chrome. looks better like that, IMO. great job though!
