No, the brown you see is acctually a shiny maroon red, with chrome paint speckled/sprayed randomly at it.... my camera sucks... I should have waited to post this when i had my other camera.

 

Different is a good word for it. Not ugly, but not my taste at all, just different. Good idea though. Different is good.
