I don't think it looks all that bad. It appears that you did pretty good work getting it all to fit right. Regardless of what others think I'd still say you did a damn good job.

 

i agree^^^ this is an awesome touch of originality you're not going to see another like this around and if you're happy thats all that matters its awesome to be able to say you did all the work definatley more rewarding. imo though the spoiler is different i always thought that tibs would look awesome with the porsche style spoiler my opinion though congrats on the work man

@bloodycliff, I'm hoping to get the car resprayed in a different colour in a few months so I might remake those fins on the skirts from carbon fibre

 

Dude this is amazing ! When I saw the first pictures I was like " Oh ****.... that's going to be ricer !!! " but the final result is sick !! I love the color of your car, I wouldn't change it !! Great work !!

Thanks a lot for all the comments. I know it was a bit of a risk trying to fit them and it was a huge amount of work but I'm quite pleased with the outcome. The high section of the skirt on the rear quarter lines up nicely with the bodyline of the rear bumper.
It's much more satisfying fitting a part that I've made myself. Nice to have a 'one-off' part too. I also made the front and rear light eyebrows and rear spats.


As much as I love the colour of the car, it's 7 years old now so as you can imagine, it's picked up its fair share of scratches and carpark dents over the years so it needs a bit of an overhaul and I have a couple of colours in mind that I'm trying to choose from. My friend does all my painting for me. All I have to do is supply the paintso it's win-win

 

i revise my oppionon...instead of coloring the lines...black paint the spaces between the lincs and the back egde behind the lines....that way it will look like a vent

ill use this as an example....it would be badass to the max bro...i would even buy those off you to do that

Awesome effort and amazing end result. I was a bit skeptical on it. But the work you did alone on it to make it fit and line up is beyond good. Looks and flows rather well.

 

This had potential to look extremely bad but you did well.

 

wow that looks good! i think the sideskirts help your car to pull off the wing

if i were you, i would paint the gilles back to tidal wave blue cuz they kinda look like a sore thumb now and remove all the stickers and decals u have on the side and back windows and hatch for a cleaner look. i would just leave the irish/korean sticker on lol. and nightshading the tails would also look nice.. just giving ya my 0.02

 

Saw the side skirts and was gross and riced out, then i saw it progress, and all the custom work go in to these and how you used side skirts for another car and made it fit flawlessly to the car and i like them!

Deff alot of respect for making these fit and pull it off....but.....about that spoiler....we're gonna have a talk haha.
