Aw man...that's kinda weird, my brother in law sold his car a few months ago to a kid down the street and that was stolen about a week ago too. He really showed off the engine work though and people were taking pics, so easy to figure out if you know what's under the hood. I hope you find it all in one piece!!!

 

sorry to hear...I had a car stolen a few years ago when I lived in St Louis....luckilly they found it fairlly quick with very minor damage and I was able to get it fixed that same day and home...I felt so violated...stayed by the window for days watching the car afterwards...hope they find it quick!

 

This is everyone's nightmare on here. I'm sorry it happened.

Sorry to hear that Scott! I can't remember if your Tib was stock or had mods. Did you have just the stock alarm on it? I hope they find it soon!

I encourage everyone here to install an aftermarket alarm. When I was working nights sometime tried to break into mine. I came out to find handprints all over my passenger side door, window and roof and a mark on the rubber stripping where they tried to get in the window. The next day I had an alarm installed and those sob's came back and boy were they in for a surprise! The alarm went off and 5 of us girls went rushing out the door!

Also if you have removed the emblems and replaced them with the "T", your Tib is also a target for theives because most people don't know what the car is. A couple of guys in a car behind my husband at a stoplight attempted to carjack mine during the day on a busy street! The light turned green just in time!

 

That suxs big time, hope you find it asap. I got a Satellite tracking system and a starter disable, and an alarm on mine.

 

Hopefully there aren't too many tibs in Thousand Oaks, CA so the police can find it faster. If it's only kids on a joy ride, you might be able to spot it by driving around.

That really sucks.

Exactly. Your Tuscani was low & black. I remeber those Eibachs. Everyone near LA eyeball those Black GT V6's with Lowered springs if you can tell. give a shout out!

 

I too had my car stolen before. You really do feel violated when it happens. Hope you find it soon. I know when it went past 2 weeks i was praying for the 30 days to fly by so i could get a new vehicle. Good luck!

 

I can't beleive it happened in my city. The reason why i say this is because we live in the safest city in the States.

 

That's messed up. Whoever stole it should be beaten to death.

jesus, that sucks man. keep us posted on whether they find it or not. Unfortunately, usually if it goes past 48 hours, and you do find it, it wont be in that city, and it will be stripped. But hopefully they fine it before then. If they catch the guys, make sure they throw the book at them.
