mine is getting done 4 $500. this is for the clutch, flywheel, and LSD, but i would think yur price would be about the same. I will say that they told me its been a lot more work than they thought, but since they qouted me a price they are sticking to it. hope this helps

yea you got lucky as hell they under quoted you for all that. i payed 830 for all that to be installed.

but anyways, you will probably be looking at around anywhere for 500-700 for the install depending on how much your local shops charge. if i were you, call a couple different places and see what they say.

Be sure to ask them if they have done one of these before. I recall a number of folks having shops get into the job and quitting on them. This looks like it isn't a job for the fainthearted. If you can get a couple of referrals, it would help. Won't cheap anyhow..

Good Luck,
Ray ;-) :3_winkthu

It's gonna be a sh*tload i'll garuntee that unless hes getting the hook up, cost me close to 1K to get it done at a dealership... this was the second time around a month after I had just put in a new one.... but anyways clutch and flywheel install 500-700 hundred no parts

if you live in ny your gonna be paying well over 700$ unless you find a CHEAP shop. i looked into having a new clutch installed and i was quited between 900 and 1500 depending on the shop (mineke, midas and all those other BS places want a fourtune)

i picked up my car today and the owner of the shop told me it was the worst car he has ever hd to work on, topping the taurus show because of the amount of work that went into the differential. he said next time he does one of these he would charge $1100-1500 because they had over 14 hours of labor.

I went to the shop I've been going to for years now. THese guys work on regular cars everyday and they also do some custom work and build drag cars too. Last time I was in they had one of those old Datsuns before it became the 300zx with giant drag radials on the back. They had my clutch/flywheel installed within 24 hours and charged me $475, because I already had the parts. Don't go to Aamco or other transmission places they will not install parts you did not purchase from them. Call and ask around.

PLEASE SEE THIS IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING CLUTCH PROBLEMS:

In addition, check this post as to what happened to me yesterday while my car is in the shop being repaired for the second clutch/flywheel failure in 36 months. You might be shocked. Also, ALL who have ever had, or are currently having clutch related problems, even just slippage, should file a NHTSA complaint. The links are at the bottom of the post also.

Been informed that a class action lawsuit against Hyundai regarding the clutch issue has already been filed. Don't be left behind. Our forum member, ucf_bronco, has posted "A class action complaint has finally been filed. If you have not already done so, send an email to GW@classcounsel.com for more information."

All I can say is it's about time! And also continue to file ur complaints with the NHTSA at:
