struts seem fine. ur not bouncing (oscillating).

oscillating is a repetitive motion caused by no dampening force. (like a pendulem) from what I saw, ur car just hit the bumps, moved a little, and then came back to normal ride height. I wouldnt worry about it, its just called stiffer suspension and 17 inch wheels. if you have to ask ur self if they went out, then they didnt, you will definately know when their shot, as u will experience "air nut syndrome". when the car oscillated ur nuts will actually float inside ur sac, and u'll feel all weird and stuff. :3_pimatyo

I noticed a little more movement in the second video, how many miles areon them? never hurts to replace right?

 

it's kinda hard to tell from the videos....but if you have springs/gonna get springs...it's good to get struts also.....

i have very stiff shocks and Tein springs and its just very bumpy, no floating at all lol

if you are lowered on springs but not shocks, you prolly need shocks... like said above

 

Not sure if i do need new struts but please discuss... I do press down on the car and nothing just bounces back up and its solid im confused

well,if it didn't do that it would seem as if you had no stuts at all: 2_lol: ...by that method you can't really tell,my opinion is that you should go to a suspension store and have your struts checked...

 

Press down your car from the top of each strut with your hands and get your hands off quickly then check if it moves more quickly than it used to do. When I had blown struts (dampers) they were moving weird. If you have the right ones, they should be moving slowly or gracefully after releasing the pressure.

 

how certain is it that springs will mess your car up? i bought h&r springs but havent installed them yet because of the winter, and people keep telling me that im going to need new shocks and struts in just a few months... does this have any truth? 60k miles on the car btw

 

weld the washers on your tab for the swaybar linkage, and ride it out till they blow...
