Why the hell are you wasting money on premium fuel?

#7 ·
ummm maybe because I want to put premium fuel in my car

#9 ·
You people are weird.

#11 ·
hey Ill put whatever gas i want in my car..and why the hell do you even care...

#13 ·
seriously, who cares if he puts in premium.
dont be mad cause he can afford to have a better alternative to regular. man, having better gas just sucks doesnt it?!
hater.

btw, nice upgrade to your interior
looks pretty awesome, nice little unique twist

#15 ·
well said...I put premium in because I choose to and if you dont well thats your deal...but thanks for the comments yall

Lol if he wants to put in premium that is fine with me, it makes no difference one way or another to me, or the engine as it runs at the same timing regardless, and premium is just a rating of octane, it has no more/less fuel cleaners than regular does.

But if wasting money is your thing then by all means go for it, the interior looks nice though lol.

14 Gallons at $3.40= $47.60 REGULAR
14 Gallons at $3.60= $50.40 PREMIUM

So LESS than 3 bucks will kill your income? Wow, that's f'd up. And yes... Premium is better, at least $2.80 worth a difference.

Sorry I can't stand when people think things are more than they really are. And yes I understand that $3 will add up in the long run but go talk to anyone who knows the gas industry and they will let you in on a secret. YOUR CAR WILL RUN BETTER with premium. Therefor, less cost to take care of it.

NOW, back on topic. I think your interior looks nice. Well done! +rep to you also for being an INDIVIDUAL.

Like the interior, btw dont get all defensive just b/c u choose to put premium in and someone disagrees with u, he's saying he doesnt do it, hes not saying u shouldn't do it, he just thinks its a waste of money, which it is. I admit that i will occasionally put it in every now and then, but only if gas is low and i feel like spending the cash. Save the cash, even if it is 3 bucks, and go buys some mcdonalds or something. :3_offtopi

I live up a pretty steep hill. My engine knocked more on 87 than premium.

Of course, now I have the Sniper, so it's always premium.

#21 ·
premium fuel only?

#22 ·
LOL thats what I said, but apparently Mekana has convinced all of science, engineering and computer technology that adding premium magically alters how the car functions, or maybe his is just special. *shrug*.

I am going to look into getting a short shifter but not that the moment...and the odometer actually says 999.1 but I WISH that my car only had 999.1 miles on it lol its actually on trip...I got a new clutch put in and I put it on trip to know when I hit 1000 miles for the break-in period...i did 1000 becuase i wanted to make 100% sure that it was broken it but it has 82,000 miles on it

well since you brought up old cars and old corvette--which there just happens to be a 65 corvette stingray in my garage, i will chime in here, those cars of back then were intended to be run on leaded fuel! not unleaded, and the octane it wants is in the 100s i dont remember exactly without looking at the manual. however using premium fuel is a must in it at minimum, turbo blue is another good alternative to premium for the old vettes but thats like 5 bucks a gallon lol, i dont remember which member on here has it in his sig but there is a like to the Truth about Octane which basically says, you idiot dont put premium in your car unless it needs it.
