These are pics of Fixer's (AJ) car from this sunday....these are the new, better door hinges that he will be selling for our tiburons. I personally opened and closed and got in and out of the car several times with these hinges and i am VERY impressed with the quality, ease of use, and how easy it was to get in/out of the car. Much more room than the metallix kit. For more info on pricing, availability, etc, please contact Fixer. I'm sure that he will be posting more info in this thread soon.

Still waiting for some hinges that allow the door to be opened normally as well.

The day that comes out is the day a lot of us get lambo doors. Does a kit exist like that at all?

Here's what you do. Go to some college, find the engineering department, walk into the class announcing a full scholorship to anyone that can develop and make a hindge like that. Then when they turn it in run like a theif in the night.

No, not yet. That's why I'm still waiting. It' wouldn't be hard. Just takes some engineering skill. Maybe with double-hinges.
I think it would be pretty hard to design something like that. Because if it can open normal, when it's in the up position, it will try to go off to the side, and it'll look retarded. I'm too stupid to think of a way to get around that, but i'm sure someone else has some sort of idea of how they can make something like that.

oh so NOW others are catching on to my idea of the doors opening both ways....*sigh*

and the design is already out for other cars...which should make it even easier to make for ours.

and Malik, fixer didnt want any of these pics to get out from what i understand till his sponsors name was on the car....i hope he said it was ok to u to post the pics...

Thanks for the comments. this kit is FAR better then the Metalix one. Ive used both kits.

Retail on the kit is $1499 + s/h ($40 in the US)

I'm selling for $1350 s/h is $40 in the US

I would like to offer the 1st 5 kits for $1285 shipped.

Door harness kit is included with this.

No kits are currently state side, so it would take roughly 3-4 weeks to get them here. I will be making a thread with some deatiled pictures.

This kit DOES open out pretty far, far enough that I can get in the car.

The door pretty much go up on their own, its realy a good kit. I'm VERY picky about my car when it comes to what I put on it.

I'm going to measure the distance that it opens out..and up, and compare it to the Metaix kit. The kit has been on for about a month and a half and no problems.

Thanks goes to Mussa (Adam and Robert) for letting me test the kit for them.
