I recently purchased a set of NEXEN 225/40/18 Tires. All four tires cost me $300, tax included (I picked them up from the seller) these seem to be excellent tires. They are made in Korea. They have a joint venture with Michelin Korea Tire Co., LTD.

Looks like they have been around for quite a long time in Korea and are just now starting to get recognized here in the U.S. for their quality tires at affordable prices.

Heres a link to the guy that sells the tires on ebay. He's a really cool guy. If you decide to buy some tires from him just mention that Erick sent you his way. I don't make anything if you buy from him. . .I just thought I would refer a person I've delt with, and had a good experience with.

Got them installed sunday 01/30/05. I can tell you that I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference between these tires and my (overpriced) Falken tires.

Ya know. . .the reason I had to change my Falken tires after 8 months of use was because 2 of the tires had long cracks along the outer sidewall and inner sidewall.

Now with these new NEXEN tires I don't feel anymore vibration in my steering wheel and these tires grip tighter. Im very pleased with them.

Hey Uneek, I am looking at getting a set of these for my new rims. I need 225/45/17 and I looked on ebay and there are 2 sellers. 1 has them for $264.99 + $75 shipping and he has them as Treadware 340, AA, A and the other seller has them at $260 + $60 shipping and he has listed that the treadware is 320 with a traction A and Temp A. So I'm confused, especially since the sticker you have posted up top has all the correct info. I'm gonna email the cheeper seller and ask questions.

Other than that, how are they holding up? Any bad wet weather driving yet?

The other guy that sells them for $260 I cant find (probably would'n't go with him if he doesnt even know his product).

The guy that I have bought from is out of stock on the NEXEN 17"s he does however have 225/45HR17 Nankang tires for $255.00 + shipping

My tires handle great, no complaints. Sure that you will be happy with them too.

you rid em in the rain yet?

just curious how you like them after 2-3 weeks fo driving
LOVE them.

Had to slam on the brakes suddenly while it was raining to avoid hitting a car ahead of me and they did their job well.

Have to say that overall im very happy with them. Also, I love that I got them at such a good price.
