Well I guess I am now joining the NGM house of power cars :3_a_puh:
Yesterday I placed my order for Tim's built short block. Just thought I would share in my excitement/pain :3_smile:
I fubared my #6 cylinder about 2 months ago racing Shadowgate on his Suzuki Katana 600. Zeus was also with us at the time. I blew oil out of both my valve cover seals and up around the spark plug tubes. oil also has been pooling in my air intake box like a friggen oil well. I just replaced my valve cover gaskets and installed a set of Hotshot headers last weekend. When My stock manifolds were removed from the engine there was oil in and around the #6 manifold tube :3_saai: the car still drives and runs great but I have not been taking it over 3000rpm nor over 60 mph on the freeway. In the past when I have tried to do 70-75mph or rev over 3000rpm the crankcase over pressurises and I get to clean up big oil messes and dump oil out of my air intake box.
There are only two good/cool things about this whole damn thing:
1. Shadowgate couldn't get passed me on his crotch rocket HEHEHEHE :3_headsha
2. I will now be a part of Nextgens house of power cars :3_coool:
Other than that, this has been one hell of an expensive damn lesson. One that I hope none of you other guys have to go through :3_sadley:
