Onto the history of the supercharger.
Over the course of 16k miles, I've had 2 issues with the blower. One, the nose cone started to leak in early 2009.
I rebuilt the blower nose with new seals, bearings, and coupler. Have not had that problem yet.
Second issue... everytime I hit boost in the car, it makes a whining noise and I get a big stupid grin on my face. Only a problem if you let it be.
