my car has never been called Tom, and im in south florida... Where do you live? If it's Kendall... well, that explains it - they cant read.

 

I live right off of 595 on pine island and sterling <5 mins away from Nova> not many "car meets" in my area but i work 20 minutes south <the 305...lol> and people who come in and ask whose car that is and i end up talking to them they say Tom its not just like 1-2 people its been like 5-6 and one of them i am becoming friends with and he says that at the hang out...which is like a wendys every one calls it a Tom...so idk if its some little group that does this and people took it from there...or if this was like a world wide thing...and i just never heard about it..lol i figured it was just a local thing because i am sure i would have seen that come up some time in my daily NT visit

 

Man, I live right down the street from you. I live right next to the Dolphins Training camp at Nova... I used to go to those 'hangouts' all the time... the wendy's/shell/publix and u-gas... no one has called my car a 'tom'. My girlfriends parents live right in that area too... There are plenty of car meets around too... I can name probably at least one every night.
