I've been running Castrol Syntec on this lemon since '03 and tried the Edge version as well recently. Since I am driving 80 miles a day to work (freeway) I have to revisit my interval schedule again since I no longer drive city miles.
The industry has most of you brainwashed into 3,000 mile intervals.
Hyundai recommends 7,500 miles.
I've been doing 5,000 miles for quite some time.
Now that its 95% freeway I've been debating sticking with Syntec and up'ing the interval change to 7,500 or going to Edge (which guarantee's a 15,000/1 year change interval) and changing it once a year. Any comments appreciated and lets see what you do.
