Yes, for Hyundai there is a separate line for writing to the ECU.

The cable is nothing. I made a right angle DLC cable for my car to hook it up to my OBDII interface.

If this piece of software is meant for the Korean cars, that's why they can get it out there. If you remember from when SFR was going to offer reflashing service, they found out that the US ECUs are different than the Korean ECUs. So, I doubt this software will work on the US cars.

but they still do offer the reflash , so they overcome this problem somehow?
Hmmm, last post by KDMguy in that reflashing thread says that they dropped the service for US V6 ECUs. Their website only describes the service for the I4 ECUs.

I was having a lot of errors on the air fuel ratio and its just not letting the car run it just won't let me accelerate fast I have to baby everything to keep the air flow low that's why I was thinking of a tune and a mechanic said that the car just seems out of tune
Can you start your own thread please? Your issue has nothing to do with this thread and only bumped it.

Also, you probably have a vacuum leak. A lot of people have headers on their cars and were able to drive them right after the header installation.
