I dont see it on anyone's car, did any of the 03 tib's come with stripes? mine's black with silver pin striping down the side....was thinking it could just be the previous owner?

Many of them came with the pinstripes. Sometimes, they were dealership add-ons used to add more ridiculous costs. They just don't really look that good on the Tib, IMO, because you've already got an interesting body line to look at, why distract from that?
Mine came with them too. When I had the racing stripes painted on, the painter took the pinstripes off for me. Definitely cleaner without pinstripes.

My 2005 Silver SE came with the black pin stripes on the contour of the upper fenders, doors and rear panels. I don't really want the pin striping anymore, but not sure how it will look without it. Will there be a shadow of a line where the pin stripe was? Will it buff out?
My silver tib had metallic grey pin stripes that started chipping about 5 years after it was bought new. Mine did NOT just pull right off though. I had to go inch by inch for about 4 hours with goo gone to get them off. NOT fun. But wow, it looks much better.

The first mod I ever completed was removing the granny-looking pinstripe from the side of my '04 GT...and what a difference it made. Who would've thought a clean, unadulterated Tib rested beneath it
