they will run at the track... but it's better if they run on a monday that we have "street nights". It mainly consists of drag racing, but without the clocks. They can line up and gun it at the same time, from a row in any gear or what ever they want.

I have been known to do that as well. He is probably just as sure as I am that Zaion will get completely smoked hehehe.

What kind of boost is each of them making? Sure the roots will walk from the dig but can the turbo catch up in the later gears when your spending more time close to red line that's the real question.

 

My moneys on Zaion. Show them what a turbo can do man.

 

Ruben its going to smoke Zaion on first and second, but Im convinced that Ruben will read Zaion's license plate when he shifts third and fourth.
PD: I would like to see that race on the road better than on the track.

If so, the supercharged car will win by a mile. It's called "usable power under the curve", and it's what defines acceleration. If a supercharged and turbocharged engine have the same peak power, pending equal traction, the supercharged one will win EVERY TIME.

 

think about something else....ruben has 400whp on a low compression motor. so on the same compressioned motor as stock, he's actually pushing more power.

even if ruben had less power....id put my money down on ruben. i've seen plenty enough of similarly hp cars, but just different setups (s/c vs. turbos) and the trq of the s/c pulled victorious every time.

remember one thing also....if they wind up doin 1/4 mile runs....ur 1/4 IS ur 60'.....zaion would never have enough time to catch up if they were just doing 1/4 mile passes from a dig (given ruben comes out as hard as he potentially could).

and honestly, i see this more of being a pissing match between a NGM car and NGM haters, rather than just one 400whp tib vs. another 400whp tib. this'll turn into a huge flame war...i can tell u right now, b/c of the haters.

otherwise it would be nice to see the difference between the 2, REGUARDLESS of who won.

one more thing....dont go comparing boost levels on a turbo to a roots blower. the turbo WILL make more power on less boost, just b/c of its efficiency vs. a roots blower. so zaion, dont even try talkin shyt bout boost levels when u already know bout the efficiency difference.

I don't look at it as a pissing contest the way you do. Over at our part of the forum we have been in and out of this alot and sometime they have said some harsh things to eachother only to talk to eachother at the meets. That's just the way we are... we talk sh1t over the net and call eachother over the phone to ask advice.

I hope you both have drag radials, do the races from a dig at the track. That way we can see 60' times, 1/8 mile times/mph and 1/4 mile times/mph. Anything else is just silly, roll racing is for ricers.

If you both have good tires then it will be a good fair race.

Lol I did not mean that to sound harsh. If you can not document the times and not go from a stop then yes it is not real racing. It is just playing on the interstate.

Damn, couldn't two guys with two cars, (same make BTW), just frickn race! I realize it's competition and all, but this CAN be fun, you know, "just for grins", hey one wins one loses, guess what, you both run home or to the shop and do what comes naturally, WORK ON YOUR CAR! You know, make it better. You know if you have enough time to have a pissing match on line, you have wasted time you could be making your car better, or doing your girl friend LOL, at least these two are going to race, not just piss at each other!
