I figured one channel for each speaker and split the fifth channel for the tweeters
the tweeters are on the same channel as the woofers in the doors the crossover that comes with it separates the signals so the highs only go to them and lows go to the woofers. so really youll only use 2 channels

ahh you didnt say about using it to run the 6x9's as well in that case that amp will still be under-powering those speakers. the speakers are rated for 150W rms and the amp even when its running as a 4 channel is only putting out 62W

The components are decent at best and that amp is junk! Sorry to be so blunt, but with car audio and most other things in life, you get what you pay for! As far as problems with your stock alternator/battery with two amps, you'll be fine. To magnum 21, while you are correct about upgrading the alternator to prevent dimming lights, in fact that is the only real way to solve that problem but if there is a whine noise that can only be associated with either inadequate wiring or low grade amps, which would certainly apply in this case. My suggestion here would be to save your money and buy higher end equipment. Or you can look on craigslist to find deals. Finally a 5 channel amp is really only good if you are running a full audio/video system and want 5.1 surround.

Alright that helps..
How would I determine how many ohms the amp would be running at?
the real determining factor you would look at is what the speakers are stable. in your case the components are 4 ohm stable if your running the amp at 4 ohms you will only get 65 watts per channel instead of the 150 that the speakers want
