I'm actually going to getting a set of aftermarket rims powdercoated and am trying to get a rough idea of how much its going to cost. So your getting all 4 rims powdercoated for around $200?

If shops around here charge more maybe I'll have to go to whatever shop your going to.

A thing I was thinking about was....

Does having the rim painted mess with its balance? Like if I have a set of tires mounted on them prior to being painted will that throw off the balancing after? I guess if it does I should just get the tires mounted/balanced after rims are painted.

You realize, painting a wheel black on a black car would make it hard to see the detail of the rim to know if it is a good idea or not. especially since there's shadow involved in the wheel well and inside the spaces of the rim, etc.

i'll PS it in bronze though. gimme a few minutes.

Just paint them with the Duplicolor system. That's how I ended up with Bronze Enkei RF-1's since Enkei doesn't make them in anything other than silver.
