i need help the guy powdercoating my valve cover said if he leaves the rubber thats in the spark plug holes in it will melt and he said if we take them out it might destroy valve come can you help me out guys thanks

Just go out and buy some valve cover gaskets from the dealer ( I think like $30. Dealer is only place that carries them i think). It comes with new gaskets and new o-rings. Make sure to scrape away all the old silicone on the heads first before putting the new ones on. The new gaskets should be installed dry and the new o-rings with go on with a nice big socket and hammer. Dont be afraid to hit the outside edges, they're just metal underneath the rubber
