don't the bar holders break after several miles?

Actually you are quite right, its happen to me and MANY other tiburon owners on this board. my advice......if u don't want any problems in the future.... either upgrade to stronger links or put back ur stock bar ASAP......cause it WILL break. even on the soft setting

so what is it that actually breaks the bolts that are holding the bar on the top two sides or the actual umm whatcha macall it the two rods on each of the sides be the tires? and where to you buy an upgrade and how much??

My experience has been this-I installed the Progressive bar on the soft setting. Within a couple of weeks the the end link mounting tab on the strut on the passenger side broke right through the middle of the bolt eye. So I put the stock bar back on went to the dealer and they replaced the strut. I put the Progress bar back on, again on the soft setting. Same thing happend. So, once again I put the stocker back on and went to the dealer. They concluded that the stock bar must be defective so this time they replaced the strut & sway bar. My opinion-The mount tab simply is not strong enough to handle the increased stress form the thicker bar. So now I use polyurethane bushings on the stock bar. It's a comprimise, but it will have to do.

This is not my pic, but the problem is identical-

Uh ..... I've had mine on (soft setting) for approx. 8,000 miles and not a single problem.
What I've hears is that they tendto break with the people who do auto cross.

Hey wats betta the eibach or pregessive?
They will do the same job. Just different color. As for breaking the tabs off the struts if you wanna be on the safe side have the bar on soft setting if you have stock struts. I also heard that this problem was happening more on the 4 cyl. Dont quote me though.

I had my progress on for months on the hardest setting and never had a problem...

I didn't switch to eibach struts till way later so not EVERYONE has problems with the sway bar on the stock struts... (nice blanket statement!)
Like I said "My opinion"...
