ok has anyone ever heard of this company?? they make coil-overs for bmw and vw but resently they started doing kits for imports. my friend of mine found a group buy for the scion tc. I couldnt didnt belive him b/c of the price $275 shipped. but 2 weeks later and must say parts look good install was as easy as putting in factory parts and seem to be feel really good. wondering if anyone has had a past exsperiance with them, and i sent them an email asking if they would make a kit for the tib no responds yet. but if they do who would be interested.

One of the locals here *MADE* a set of coilovers for his rx-7 using some parts he found on ebay.. Did it for less than $100 and so far they seem okay. There was a write-up on some Pontiac Fiero forum where he got the idea from. Maybe they're doing something similar to this? I don't know exactly if I'd trust them either.. I think I'll stick with my Tein Type Flex coilovers..

Yes VWvortex the site I have been told nurmorus times that bithces about $$$ more then NT, and *****es rapes anyone who tries something new, when VW's are known for doing everything and anything to their car, and has been proven to know less about anything true performance compared to most sites.

Right....

Notice how I mentioned ride quality, if you look at the construction there is no seperate lower body mount, the only way to lowedr your car is the compress the spring (like those ****** ebay coil-over sleeve kits) Your car will become much harsheer faster, your best bet is a good spring/strut combo, it will ride better.

If you replace the struts you still will have wicked stiff and compressed springs ( leading to premature crystalization aka spring sag) and cause even worse ride then you start out with.

Either Get some bottom line K-sports (the cheapest with a seperate lower threaded mount) or some lowering spring and either KYB's or Koni inserts.

because the chances of failure is less likely (less cases reported per amount of product produced and sold)

Also counting on the company if it does break and is under warranty some don't honor it still because they are not in the same country as you (so your authorities really can't do jack ****) but still read my reasoning why, your ride will absolutely suck, it's pretty much running a coiloversleeve kit from ebay.

Not to mention do you really want to risk a failure like that on the road and have no control? If you do your stupid.

A set of $200 coils will NEVER be faster around the track then a set of KW's. Just how the $30 ebay intake will never be as nice as the injen counter-part. You are clearly some kid in highschool who thinks he knows everything because his friend with a slammed vdub is telling you "these coils are the best!". Rice out your tiburon however you like but dont post up threads about a part then have the entire forum call it a peice of **** and sit here and stand up for it. Next time just buy the peice of **** and go about your buisness. Then post up when your strut breaks and your tib is wrapped around a tree. RICE ON MY FRIEND RICE ON :3_withstu

$200 coilovers are good for 1 thing ... slaming your tib, dont expect them to be worth anything at the track or add anything performance wise (may even hurt) but if your just looking for the lowered look for cheap then by all means go ahead, but dont have misconseptions of what they are, they arent performance orientated coils. and if you think your gonna get a set of coils for 200 brand new that are gonna help at all on the track, i got a few other things i can sell you ... ill start with some headlight fluid for only $20 shipped

who is to say that something performance oriented cant be cheap so i can put together a coil over kit with huge springs and insanely strong struts and call them performance and charge big $$$. look at cai ebay brand is the same as the big name $30 ship or $200 does the same thing.

it has to do with math: geometry, spring rate, strut rebound strength, and wheel alignment.
so what means i cant buy the same parts as your big name kits and sell them as different name for half price. i have worked for a corporation all i did was find manufacture equivalent or better for less
most of the time it was same manufacturer with out the logo

i dont think you have much of a clue how suspension works ... just the parts alone to make a performance oriented kit would cost more than they sell that for ... stiff springs does not mean good quality, you want the suspension to be stiff yes, but to bounce back quickly so you have the tire remain on the road longer. you need all 4 dampers to be the same, which requires a high level of precision in the manufacturing process you just cant get for cheap, discrepencies in the damping levels will lead to the car being unbalanced on the track which will result in worse handling than if it were stock.

theres alot more to a quality set of coilovers than just slaping together a set of springs and struts

can the camber even be adjusted on those ... i dont think so but it doesnt say if they are adjustable in any way other than ride height, theres no descriptions of the product, but just by looking it doesnt appear so

umm yes for one i do understand how suspension works i know its more then stiff springs and please tell me how a injen intake is and better the cheap knock off. what b/c it said injen..... you have no idea what it mean to performance oriented you just seem to go buy the biggest price tag with a name everyone talks about that sound more rice then a person who will to take a chance with a company moving new to our market .

I hope you are arguing your point only out of pride. There is parts you can cut corners on and parts you cant. Would you buy oil for 10 cents a quart because oil is oil? Quality is key when it comes to suspension and i would rather run stock than a set of 300 dollar coilovers.

No dudes being really stiff (even though whooty said these were bouncy which means they are overdampened for the springs) and extremely low is how you get the best handling no matter what. Totally ignore other parts of the suspension. Man will it look cool bouncing down the highway like a ricer with cut springs.
