Ok so I?m equipped to do this job I?ve swapped rack and pinions before I?ve got engine hoist to drop sub frame n all that but I am lacking the most important information, is the rack the same for the 6 cylinder as the 4 cylinder?! And is there a recommended brand or site I should purchase from?

I recommend buying from RockAuto.
Just checked a 2003 I4 and a 2003 V6 and same exact part numbers.
