I'm going to fabricate a side exit exhaust but can not decide weather i want to make it a dual side exit or just the passenger side. Most likely just going to get a set of skirts and cut out the necessary space for the tip or tips just to make it all tie together.

Let me know what you think and post and pics if you have a side exit

I love the setup!

Oh and excuse the cut on the side skirt, the body work is not done.

Don't do the side. Just please don't. Guam pulled it off but you won't. You just won't. Save your money on fixing it later and just get a dual or single rear now

The side exhausts pictured above aren't bad. When I first saw the title of this thread I was thinking of big chrome side pipes ripped off the rocker panels of a ratty '69 Camaro and my answer was a great big NO.

wow thanx for the vote of confidence....

Just stay with your current setup. GuamBomb definitely has a nice sound to dual side exits, but he's a V6. It can be done, however, it just stands out too much from the car and doing this setup on an n/a I4 is pretty much useless.

I think kyle just meant that people would see it and be like, "oh sweet, side exit exhaust, what kind of engine / displacement / induction you running?" And when you say an i4 there will be a bit of laughter.... Side exhausts and something reserved for classic muscle and phatty engines.

Not really. The shorter the exhaust the better IMO. Crack it right out by the fender. Of course, your not going to have a resonator or muffler. So, this would be dumb for a daily driver. Even I won't do that... and I do not care much about the amenities. LOL
