that looks really good! I used vinyl on mine, but it didn't really turn out the way i wanted. I'm actually going to be nightshading mine in about an hour when i get home from work...what did you use for the polish? also, how many coats of the nightshade and how many coats of clear did you do?

does anyone know what other spray to use besides nightshades?......i want something i can pick up locally..because im bored...and i need something to do .....anyone?..LMK

MIght as well paint them with straight paint. :)

Looks good, I hope its on a show car. I see at tleast 1 car a week getting pulled over now for the tails, usually they're scions too. :)

my first time I nightshaded, I didn't know what all the steps to the process....didn't look that good.
what did you do wrong the first time?

in the daytime you rely on your third brake light...at nite the light shines thru fine....
that's a good point....

but if there was an accident, i could imagine that the person that hit you could argue that it was your fault since your tail lights were so dark and not clear enough....

but hey, i still love them and am still thinking about getting some smoked tails myself :)

I got rear ended by soccer mom last summer...not sure if my tails were the cause or not but mine were very dim in the daytime...
who got blamed?

Looks good FFF.
Can't wait to see 'em on the car.

As far as everyone else saying they are too dark......that's why I masked off the circles when I did mine. Keeps me legal (or at least more so) and gives me some true light, reducing the risk of getting rear-ended during the day. This way I could go as dark as I wanted without worrying about these things. Getting ready to shade my 3rd barke light too.....REAL dark.
