I have had 3 tickets for speeding all of them I have to gone to defensive driving whick is kinda fun. I meet some really nice people in there. And its always funny to hear why they are there.

I wouldn't suggest trying to get out of the ticket for the wrong day being written, and technically your car is a tuscani. The only way you can really get out of the ticket completely is if the officer didn't sign the ticket or if for some weird reason he didn't record the speed or the name of the road. Always plea not guilty and you'll at least get a plea bargain. Around here they reduce the speed by 10 unless it was over 25 mph over. Then they take your license on the spot. I was going to be an officer for a while and I'm pursuing other career options but hopefully that will help you or at least make it so you don't have to think about this as hard haha.

It's pretty rare that an officer doesn't show up to court. If he had nothing better to do then pull you over late at night on an empty road he'll have the time to go to court.

My brother got pulled over for doing 115 in a 65 and went to court 6 times for it because the cop never showed up. The ended up dropping it on the 6th time and he got out scott free. Just pray he doesn't show up for court.....worked for my bro. LoL

 

i just never get caught. having expensive radar detector equipement that can basically detect anything is pretty good investment. only 1 speeding ticket here and its when i put my unit on silent.

 

You have a bigger problem than you know. I kinda drive commercial vehicles so I'm familiar with the texas speeding laws (very familiar). In texas everything has a point value attached to moving violations, if you have to many of these you incur a sur charge (usually $130+) every year until enough tickets drop off your record (they disappear every three years after the original citation date).

Now the really bad news, depending on how many tickets you have for going 15mph (these are classified differently and get counted up by the state department of transportation) or higher over the speed limit they can and will suspend your license for 30-60 days depending on the number and frequency.

My suggestion..... cut off the damned lead foot. Your going to get your license suspended if you keep driving like this.

 

i got a 112 in a 60mph on 114, dallas cop lasered me. didn't dare try to outrun the brand new charger

 

shoot and i thought me getting lasered at 99 in a 60 was bad. guess it could have been worse. it was when my buddy and i were going to Toledo and we were trying to get there for a party. mind you we were only 19 and we had a cooler with beer chilling on ice for the way down. so i was doing like 110 and i saw the cop in the median and i tapped the brakes but then i figured whats the point he's got me anyways. sure enough he came flying out to get me. well when he came up to the window he said you guys look like your in a hurry so i will cut you a break and mark it down for 99(which is 39 over the limit) and make this quick. He was by far the coolest cop I've ever encountered. in Ohio if you are going more than 20 over they can arrest you and through you in jail and impound your car. so i got lucky

you really need to learn how to avoid cops man lol... i speed quite often usually 10-15 over, im just a fast driver, i hate slow drivers/driving... but ive never gotten a ticket.

Only time ive been pulled over was because i took a right turn too fast, same as you maybe? lol..
I totally didnt see the cop this time though but i was in one hell of a rush, because we bought tickets for a movie and it was about to start and instead of stopping at the right turn and bla bla bla i just slowed down and looked while i was approaching it and didnt bother to stop... Then lol when the cop walked up to the window the first thing he said was "Now dont bull**** me!" and i was like fuuuck why the ******* cop lol.. but he didnt give me a ticket because he happened to pull me over in the theatre's parking lot so just checked my information and what not and told us to hurry up and get in the movie, so he turned out to be really cool.

EDIT: O yea and also right after he said not to BS him he asked what i did wrong and i named like two OTHER things that i also did wrong lol rather than just that right turn..

Ya, invest in a Radar Detector, and check its legality in your state. Aswell you should REALLY check Radar scrambler/jammers too, cost a lot more but well worth it especially in your case.

They schedule the court dates for the cops in -court days, where he gets paid time-and-a-half.

Buy a laser jammer. Really. It will save you lots of money. I recommend the blinder series.

You're lucky you have a lax state though, i had an 87 (lie) in a 55 (was a 65 till it crossed a border) in VA, and I nearly lost my license for 6 months. Lawyer had me reschedule at the last minute to get away from the evil judge.

 

last ticket i got they clocked me at 87 passing another car in a 60mph. First off I thought it was a 65mph,but still. Pluss the guy in front of me was going 50mph what it seemed like and my girlfriend and I were late for a movie. So I continued to speed when she said we are late get us there fast....and well...the cop finaly, after making a U turn on the highway and speeding after me caught up to me abou...uhm....7 miles away...and I was in the movie theater parking lot. First off I was scared shitless cuz two cops flew in with there lights flashing right behind me. and I had no idea a police officer was chasing me? they were lights off untill they got into the parking lot. The cops around here are notorious for ****ing with people but I admit full well I was speeding hard core. But they came up to the car FAST and I didnt leave it in gear when i shut it off and the ebrake cable is stretched out so I left go of the clutch n whatnot, well the car started to roll. So this caused 45 minutes of sweet roadside testing and questioning...In the parking lot friday night....
