Waiting in the shop for a set of fronts and a head unit (Infinity Reference 6012 and an Alpine CDE9852) to be installed, I saw the huge, hulking boxes and ugly, dangerously hot amps and wonder...does anyone need that much bass? I honestly think not.
At most, a small sub with a built in amp is more than enough, better than having your cargo space compromised with huge 15's? My question is, if i was to take the route of having the 6x9's put in back (and to be honest I bought a set of kenwood rears that sound pretty darn good for ovals) and later down the road put in a small sub, would that really be that bad?
