Depends on what part of Texas you are talking about. I personally love Texas and would not move anywhere else. The cost of living is very affordable and the women are beautiful. Plus, if you are in Houston, San Antonio, Austin or Dallas, there is always something to do. Just like any other big city. Just be prepared to sweat your ass of, summers are really HOT.

I LOVE San Antonio. The cost of living is like half of the other major areas in the US. You have the world famous Riverwalk, Alamo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World, River rafting/tubing, and Schlitterbahn was rated #1 waterpark in the US.

I have friends that are in the military from all over the US that were stationed here once. Once they get out, they say they're moving back here.

The only thing you're gonna miss is a REAL beach. The gulf just doesn't cut it.

true true true... don't forget... we have the world champs SPURS!!!.... :3_got-hoo

its hotter than a mother. and its a humid hot PLUS a hot hot. but trojan has it right, cost of living is a lot better than most places. i know in houston, neighborhoods are popping up everywhere. and in houston, we have meets all the time so you can hang with us.

it's hot as f00k bro, but eh you'll get used to it, it's not that bad a place to live depending on where you move, to dallas will have a huge korean population, killeen where I'm at is a very diverse city, so it depends on where you go.

Yea, the Spurs!!!! It's not as humid around Texas, just Houston/gulf area.
You get used to the heat after a while. Only when it's 95 and above is when it's "too hot".

At least you don't have to worry about ice or parking your car in the winter. :3_winkthu

I live in Fort Worth and I love it here. I am always in Dallas and there is always something going on. You will love it but you will miss the beach man!! That is one thing our beaches are not that nice! But you will like it man!!

I'm in the DFW area and I'm looking for more tib owners to meet up with
I will meet up with you some time. I am in Arlington. Give me a call if you want 817.275.0438 name is Chris.

Yeah, Texas has a lot to ofer, but...

...one word of warning, the road system sucks! It's got feeder roads that are nothing but a hassle. You get off at an exit, practically drive a mile past your destination on the feeder because you came from the wrong direction (which isn't your fault), make a U-turn, drive a mile back on the other feeder, and pray you don't miss your turn (in which you repeat again.:m_BangHea) The interchanges are cool, 'cause they go a billion miles in the air. Anyone know who designed the layout of Texas roads? How retarded were they? :m_dunce:

When they say Texas is like no other state, they mean it! :m_stickpo

Then again, I'd trade the roads we ride on here in :qleft3:Baghdad :qright1:for a Texas road any day. It's all in perpesctive I guess. The weather is good most of the year because there are only two seasons: Rain in December and January, and hot the rest of the year.

Where ya moving to?

Texas, well I was not born here but I will someday be laid to rest here. I’ve lived in North East TX for close to 16 years then spent four years in San Antonio, now I’m back in the Dallas area. For the last seven years, I could not imagine living anywhere else. As far as visiting parts of TX I have been every where but West TX. And this is Gods country.
