Ever since I have put my tuscani badges on my car I have been asked so many times if my car is a toyota! :3_frusty: I guess I can understand because it is a big "T" on the badge, but still how does it look like a toyota? Interested to hear what people have mistaken your tib for?

i get that and f'n hate it. lol

well ive gotten, mitsubishi tuscani on a ticket once

celica, porche, ferrari, "tuscani" a guy said its an italian exotic.....

funniest thing is rich people driving luxury cars have stopped at the gas station i work in and walk around it confused about what the hell is that car

a guy in an bmw m6 spent like 5 minutes watching the car
a couple of audi guys
and an old man in a porche was peeking through the window

funniest thing is when i tell them its a hyundai tiburon 2004 they kind mindfuc***
omg i love it when rich ppl dont know what your driving. the other day i pull to the gas pump. the pump next to me is a bently continental gt coupe. i was like nice car man, he goes you too. what is a tuscani? i tell him it's a korean import nothing more or less, lol he says how much do they run?, because it looks better than my bently, i laughed histarically and told him it was a 18000 dollar hyundai, and mine is just barely above the base model hahahaha

Since I fit the Veilside style front, a lot of people think its a gen7 Celica at first glance because of the small opening where the upper grill would be.

Even cops have asked me if its a Celica when they've pulled me over. I just agree with them. At least then, if I ever get a court summons, it will be struck out because of the cops mistake......................ah, the perfect crime :p

I've never gotten Toyota... I've gotten Mazda, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Delorean, and most frequently Maserati.

I did got mistaken for a Toyota once but the guy said, "Hey, that's a nice Supra~!" lol~

I get mistaken the most often for a Porsche. My GF's maroon red FL2 Tib, on the other hand, got mistaken for a Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Jaguar, all from male motorists~! lol~

last time someone asked me if it was a tesla lol....i've also had people ask me if it was a porsche, aston martin and lotus....never toyota lol

Funny, my neighbor thought tC was a version of the tiburon. He's like, is this a tC? I'm like wait a minute, you've seen me drive this car in and out of the neighborhood for almost 9 years, and you've even called it a tiburon before. What are YOU talking about? lol

This thread simply proves the ignorance of the majority of "enthusiasts." People who claim to be into cars can't recognize one when it's debadged. If those are our "enthusiasts," can you imagine what the rest of society thinks?

I've had my tib for 2 1/2 years and not once have been asked if it's a Toyota. I've been complimented on it and asked about it but never a Toyota. Mine is debadged except for the LED Tuscani badge on the back. Honestly, now that I think about it... I've only ever been asked what it is. No one has asked specifically if it's this or that.

i had read in some corner of the internet that some individual that had designed a Ferrari body style designed the body of the Tib, don't think i ever read it on here though so i didn't think much of it being true.

Pininfarin... Hyundai has never officially admitted to it, but everyone (car designers, journalists, etc) admits it's true.

who cares? ppl dont even know what my gto is...... theres all kinds of ppl who dont know what kind of makes alot of different cars are. so what

Except GTO's aren't pretty. Powerful, yes, but not pretty. And a GTO will never get mistaken for a Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, or Aston Martin.

Ive had mistaken as a 350 a few times.

It was awesome when I worked at arby's. I'd be cleaning the lobby and look at the window and always see people walk by looking at it, stop, walk up to see what the hell it is and walk away still with eyes fixed on it
