I believe t-u-s-c-a-n-i is from around here, but he hasn't posted in here yet. Also, what happened to shark8m? I haven't seen him on the new boards yet. Did he get called on a military assignment?

Hey fellas, so about the dealer, I got mine in inver grove too. I dont trust them with my car, and all of the stuff i've done to my car I did on my own. I'm gonna bring it in for the brake line recall and tranny flush. I'm at 25,600 today.

I'm near the lakes in SW mpls, so i'll keep an eye out for ya.

Also, I talked to the parts mgr. and he dosent know much about HARD parts either. Safe bet is to do it on your own, and learn more about it.

Jus got (last friday) a new Carbon 03 GT Auto w/everything but ABS. It's all stock right now aside from the Sub re-wire and removal of the damned dealer sticker. But could use some help modding it out :3_wink:

Yeah I have found a ton of info already just working my way through these forums. I like that theres everything offered from this one site such as How To, Links, Specs, For Sale, etc. Does anyone know when the store section is suppose to open? I was curious as to what they carried on this site.

Are there alot of people from this site with their cars posted on cardomain.com? I have set up a webpage on there but am working on getting pictures to put up there now.

Guess I'm number 7.. located in Minneapolis/Downtown. Picked up the car earlier this month, having alot of fun with it so far. Done nothing to it except swapped in an S2000 antenna. Great site, hope to see you guys around

Hey homies, the MNSC group is gonna get together and go to the auto show sat. the 20th. It would be fun to shock 'em with a few tibbys.

BTW I was following (an also) white tib tonite (sunday 3-14-4) for a while, so post if it was you.

I would certainly be in for getting together with all ya other Tib owners around town. I wont be making it to the Auto Show, although that sounds fun, but one Sat or Sun in April we should all get together and meet. I dont know where, but that would be a great idea.

Yea, I'd be down for something in april, this weekend is a little too short notice..we should all get together, meet and everything. If you guys wanna do some photo shoots, there's a place off of 1st ave with small parking lot right next to a building whos whole wall (200ft or so in length) is done up in some pretty sweet grafitti. Would be a very nice spot to take some pics of our tibs.

Nice, a photoshoot might be a great icebreaker for us. Man my car is really filthy though right now.. Black Spectre, keeping a black car clean in MN sure is a pain hehe. I hit 1000 miles over the weekend.. gonna add about another 700 miles this weekend on a road trip.

On a side note I was wondering if any of you have leather seats.. car's almost new and mine are already looking worn. Cheap Hyundai leather or something?

From what I've read in these forums it's really important to condition the leather. I also have leather with a lil over 700miles and am noticing wear..nothing major but yea the leather could be a lil better quailty. Looking forward to meeting you guys :3_bier:

Ordered a passenger side cupholder from some place in Korea last night.. solves another minor annoyance w/ my Tib hehe

Assuming I have my car back by April, I'd definitely be up for a meet. (Just ordered my body kit this weekend, should be here in 2 to 3 weeks :biggrin: )

Black car + MN winter = impossible to keep clean. and yeah, our leather ain't teh greatest...

NWAutoleather.com. just had a GB on their leather seat covers and might be doing it again if your interested. I'm planning on getting the 2 toned green and black covers w/ door inserts if and when they run another one.
btw... good luck with the cupholder install, I heard it was a PITA.
