Hello.

I`m from Norway and just got my Hyundai coupe 1.6. In Norway the name of the car is Coupe.
Is there any diffrence between Coupe , Tuscano, Tiburon and Tuscany???

In Norway has a 1.6l engine, 2.0l engine and the 2,7 V6.

Is it true that some has a 1.8l engine??

Looking for turbo kits for my 1.6l engine

Can anyone help me???

I have a 1.6 Turbo on my Tuscani (I think, I'm the only one in this forum).

but, as JT said, you need a custom work (I also read your post on TurboHyundai messageboard)....

and it's very very difficult to modify the pinout for the extra ECU...
I spent 2000 €uro only for that, in Italy!

passion is passion!!!

this is my thread:

7000 $ are not justified for only that pieces!!!

I payed 6500 €uro for all the turbo engine mod pieces + extra ECU Mectronik...(with the handwork)

and the original Hyundai 1.6 piston CAN'T support 0,6 BAR...
you will BREAK it after 500 miles or at the first real steep slope!!!
(it's the same thing that happened to me!)

you need new pistons!!!

Then my country isn't so bad, we pay around 40000 for a new V6

But I don't understand the oil issue. I mean it's running on petrol, not oil right. 1,5$ for fuel, men we pay almost 2$ per liter on petrol here (netherlands). 1 gallon = 3,8 liter
so that's around 7 to 8 bucks for 1 gallon.
so what if you have to pay 40 bucks for 1 gallon of oil.

2$ per liter on petrol , right now in Turkiye ,

V6 is about 50000-52000 US $ ,
2,0 L I4 is 40000 us $
1,6L I4 is 29500 us $ ,

another issue is that , a 06 model Tiburon ,
for ,
1,6 L I4 we pay 330 $
2,0L I4 we pay 960$
V6 we pay 2050 $
yearly taxes ...

Ok, so what about finding a 2.0l in a junkyard and dropping that in there and turbo that. It would be easier to find parts for it and it can't be that much different than the 1.6l.
