Finally got the beast. Crappy cell phone pics, but oh well.
First hand impression: WOW
This is replacing a 12" ID-Max which, until now has been the cleanest sub i've had in my car. The clarity difference is very noticeable, and the ID-Max is no joke itself. I was surprised at how low the W7 was able to go, considering the 2" size difference. It's much quicker (given) and with the box size difference, I can now put all 3 amps in the trunk (YAY). The box is airtight (like my ex)and is made by the same guy who made the dual 12" enclosure I had before (in the F/S section, FYI) And I now believe the claims are true; it IS louder than the ID-Max, although not at the extreme lows (close enough). Granted, I never would have bought the W7 if it wasn't at such a great deal ($400 w/ box), but now, i'm considering eventually getting another one. This, and the CDT Eurosports i've got for up front, will make one hell of a set up!!!
