Recently my battery, brake, and abs lights have been coming on and off. My radio has been cuttin in and out, theres also a weird smell coming outta my vents, like burning plastic almost. I checked my wires and they all seem to be connected tightly. This happend B4 and My car wouldnt start for a while after I shut it off. After an hour or so it started up. I have a 1000watt amp powering my system but I have an 1ohm cap.

The car is only 3 years old could it be the battery? Please someone help me out thank you.

if i'm not mistaken your alternator is crapping out.

Deffinetly sounds like alternator is going bad on ya .... Lights are coming on due to voltage drop at sensors or computer abs and brake are the first to show signs of this due to the system being very sensitive to voltage..

thanx alot guys it was the alternator and the battery according to the dealer. They're prolly lying about the battery, the alternator was covered under warranty but not the battery. but N E wayz thanx again 4 the support.

My personal opinion is that if it breaks, you might as well make it better... Can anyone else say Iraggi and a Yellow Top??

it is possible if you got a bad alternator it will mess up you batt. a batt can only be tested fully charged and with a special batt.tester not with a volt meter .
