el oh el I actually bought that exact exhaust from that guy like 2 years ago. It was a popular ebay brand known as "Tsudo" which was a cheap Greddy Evo 2 knockoff exhaust. These days you can't find that particular exhaust around, but you can still get cheapo ebay exhausts that probably sound almost identical for <$200.

 

Any idea as to what the actual model of the exhaust is valkare? I've searched ebay a fair bit and I've come across a few different models, but unsure what one it is due to not being able to see the exhaust.

 

They stopped making it. It was called the Tsudo Exhaust as Valkare said it was sold on ebay several years ago, but has disappeared in recent time.

 

So that was it, just a simple brand of Tsudo and no model name? That makes me sad, as I want an exhaust that sounds something like this. Anyone know of any that do, either cheapo or namebrand.

As far as I know they still sell this Tsudo exhaust? Atleast I had it favorited less than a month ago...but most of the ebay exhausts are the EXACT same design..so its not a big deal.

I can tell you the resonators are the same and the mufflers look identical too. The only difference I can immediately tell is that the tips on the ebay link are longer (and now have removable silencers) that the original Tsudo didn't have.

 

Thanks Valkare, those are the ones that I thought were the new replacements, or at least similar enough. I'd give ya +rep, but I gotta spread some more around it seem, so pending +rep for ya then.

 

Another question Valkare, did you notice much of a performance gain with the Tsudo you apparently bought?

Yup, and here is the EXACT same one that Valkare posted except it says its for 02'-04', but I'm pretty sure it'll be fine either way, cuz its the exact same as the link. This is the one I plan to buy. Bolts right on.

 

Ah okay, so ya never had it dyno'd when ya had it. Do you happen to know if any of the bigger brand names sound somewhat similar to this, and give an actual performance boost?

 

You get what you pay for.....but in general exhausts really aren't going to give you much of a gain, maybe 2-3 at the most. Its more for appearance, and obviously sound. You might notice a difference in teh mid range but it'll be minimal. Now, if you buy from somewhere like G-Reddy, SFR, etc, you'll probably notice a difference.


For me, I'm not really looking to gain power, just appearance and sound, and this is perfect for that.

 

you're on your own when it comes to power / sound / get what you pay for arguments. Those questions have been asked many times before and all answered.
