What kind of knock off?

I was set on some dc sports exhaust, and headers. But now I was searching on ebay (where I try to stay away from) and came across this system

Edit: sorry here

Can anyone tell me what kind of knock off this is. I did a search and of course when people post ebay links they expire so I couldn't see the pictures of the systems people had posted about. Is this worth buying? I mean it is under half of what a dc exhaust and dc heads would be.

I just said I can't see the pictures of the exhaust systems because ebay links EXPIRE.

Edit: Just because I joined in 06' doesn't mean I've been active the whole time. I've only had my tiburon for a year. I'd find it pointless to know so much about a car I've never owned up until a year ago. Before anyone says anything about the exhaust sticky I've checked out a couple of pages. Most of the links don't work, and it's a thread with video and sound of exhaust systems. That doesn't help me if I want to know what the system looks like.

How about instead of trying to flame someone. Someone make a thread with pictures of all the exhaust systems "including the knock offs" and people vote for it to be stickied. That way you won't have threads like this made.

To answer your question it's SSA engine back knockoff.

Yep that's the Ebay SSA package.

It will get the job done performance wise. Some things to consider though....
1. Are the headers V1 or V2. V2's have no fitment issues, while V1's require some special work to get them to fit right.

2. The exhaust is not split like a DC Sports exhaust. DC has theirs come under the axle and split evenly. Also each muffler is slightly angled with the DC system. The SSA system will be straight.

Overall, it's a good value for a person on a budget. You might need to get a highflow cat and an extra resonator down the line though. I've heard some vidoes of the SSA system, and it can get a bit buzzy in the high RPM's though.

Hope that helps.

oh i agree, i hate when people say use the search button because like you said the links are almost always dead. But i also would have assumed that someone with over 400 posts would know that ssa headers are fine to run....thats just me

It's always nice to make a thread go to sleep then wake up to see help post, Dlanes, and Nema :3_winkthu

Gothikwon I haven't looked into getting an exhaust for more than a week. The only performance mod I have is Fujita rest of my mods are visual. I have no clue what ssa exhaust and heads look like until now. I hardly post in the performance mod section of the forum. Most of my 400 posts are in the exterior and interior threads or off topic section. So your's and Valk's assumptions are wrong.

if you plan on going forced induction you are better off getting larger diameter piping, the one you linked to is just 2.25'' thats fine if you are staying n/a. (just throwing that out there.) other than that its a good deal.

I agree with that last part. I'm looking at getting headers soon too Code Air, and the DC Sports headers are FAR superior to the SSA ones. So I'm gonna be saving for those.
