My mods are in my sig… I haven’t done much to the car, as I’m trying to keep it “reasonable” in both price and loudness. I have done some minor weight reduction, but I like the Tib’s interior and don’t want to mess it up by taking out the back seats. Mine’s an auto, by the way, and cosmetic mods really aren’t my thing.
At this point it sounds like the biggest gains would come from headers. I’m not good with tools so I’d have to pay to get it done… six hours labor, ouch. Plus that would make the car much louder, right? I don’t want to attract cops or Hondas. From what I’ve read, adding headers also involves messing with sensors and possible CELs…
High-flow cat- Dynatech Powercats look nice, but they are supposedly not worth it without headers…
A lightweight, full-sized pulley does appeal to me. I don’t want to mess with an UD pulley due to the possible electrical problems, but I do like the idea of freeing up power that’s already there. What is involved in installing a LWFS pulley? Any particular one known to be the best?
BBTB- I’ve been looking at the one from RRM, since I use my cruise control and like how it’s a bored-out stock model. But I keep hearing how this is a “worthless” mod on NA cars…
Port & polish IM- I have Next Gen’s number and am trying to get in touch.
Rims- I have the stock 16s. Would some light-weight aftermarket 16s help? I really don’t want to add weight at the wheels by going bigger.
Anti-Sway bar- sounds appealing, but I keep hearing about this busting up the stock suspension components.
Anyway, I’ve been researching all of these options and have more work to do. Suggestions? And if I’m looking at any of this backwards, feel free to educate me.
Thanks
