I posted this up for my Genesis Coupe customers since lots of them do black Vinyl roof overlays to compliment their CF Hoods and CF trunk combos. I've seen a lot of people with FlyRyde CF Hatches and CF Hoods on their Tiburons, so I figured you guys might be interested in this as well. I'm pretty sure it'd be the same for the 03-08 Tiburons right?
We can do this one of two ways. We can have a low cost (figure 450-500) part that attaches to the roof of the car, and we can also do a full replacement roof for people with full out cages that want to drop the weight of the metal roof.
Company: Devari Carbon. They used to be part of Asuka Design apparently and are now on their own.
Examples of their work with the Z for Carbon Roof. I spoke with them earlier and I was told we have the option of doing an OEM roof skin, which will attach under the weatherstripping on the roof (if the stripping can be pulled up and put back. Otherwise, the skin will need to be attached straight to the roof using another method. The main thing is that they'll build this so that it will have no chance of ripping off the car while you're driving 80+ mph on the freeway, lol.
This is the other roof skin they made, a double hump style that gives a pretty aggressive look to the Z.
Here's some other pics of their process and their work:
