Interesting. I don't whether or not it would be my favorite paint scheme but it definitely stands out.

 

That's what I was thinking. It would certainly make my Tiburon stand out from the rest of the Tiburons.

I like it. It's different and more one-of-a-kind looking than a standard color.

 

I saw a 350z that was a nice orange with blue rims. Looked nice. Not a fan of yellow

 

A nice candy/heavily metallic blue or anodized blue can look quite nice. Not sure with the plain Tib's yellow though - I'm not a fan of that yellow either. The nice pearl deep yellow of that S2000 look nice though.

A nice blue like that might not look bad on the Tib yellow or at least it'll be different.

I think that one looks way better! like an anodized blue with a thick ass polished deep dish lip!

 

as a chargers fan, yellow and blue are my 2 favorite color combos but NO!!! it looks fugly as hell. plz dont ruin the look of your sunburst tib

Honestly it seems like there's no originality with Tibs anymore - Proof because everyone just says "no don't do it blah blah blah" But honestly if you look at the car scene as a whole, this kind of thing is extremely popular, and if done properly will get your car some pretty well deserved recognition.

 

I have to admit, that shade of blue would look pretty nice against the yellow.

by far the worst color combo ever. it looks so tacky and childish honestly.

my brother used to make all of his rides on rollercoaster tycoon yellow and blue and it looks horrible.

 

The real question is, are you on stockers? If you have aftermarkets, then it might look alright.

 

Stockers right now. Maybe I should get some aftermarket wheels first then do it.

 

Doing something different like this is gonna have people who hate it, and also people who love it. That's why its called being different. If you like it then do it, it has a good contrast between the yellow and blue. Make sure it's on aftermarket wheels tho. But don't hate when people say that it looks ugly because you'll get plenty of that. It's part of originality.

Perhaps this will change some of the "don't do it!!" comments to "do it". BTW, I'm still going through with it. Yellow 370Z with blue wheels.

 

just remember what makes these combos work...nice name brand wheels with immaculate blue paint...not ghetto azz stockers rattle canned or crappy offset Craigslist wheels...it is a combination of stance, wheels, and a cars exterior stylings (front lip kit, cf hood, coilovers/springs, etc)

I do plan on getting some Raceland coilovers sometime before next year. Then I will get the wheels and I will have them painted professionally. Carbon fiber hood and lip kit will be down the road aways.
