Production hoods new ETA - March (and I mean it this time!)
Base hoods - now shipping!

Ok, for those of you who have been following along in the Guaging Interest thread...

....we're going to OFFICIALLY open up this Group Buy. Here's the scoop...

5 orders.....$499
10 orders.....$450
15 orders.....$425

Shipping will be a flat $125 to a business location or $150 to a residence in the continental USA or $150 to a business and $175 to a residence in Canada. International shipping IS AVAILABLE! However, rates will range between $200-$350 depending on location, so I will provide custom quotes upon request.

As for the hood itself, the side vents will be cut out and I will more than likely just have the washer nozzle holes pre-drilled. Does anyone NOT want them to be drilled? Honestly, doing it yourself isn't brain surgery. There will not be grill mesh included unless does not effect the price. You can install grill mesh yourself simply with a bit of silicone applied underneath. Yes, it will have a hood latch and yes you can use one of your OEM hood lifters. However, I'd recommend a weaker aftermarket hood lifter. The manufacturing process is being done overseas by the same company that makes Seibon's hoods (as pictured below), so it will take approximately 4 weeks after the orders are in for the hoods to be delivered.

Since these are not in stock and are being made in a new inventory order, I will not collect full payments unless you'd simply like to send it all in one shot. Instead, I will only require a $250 non-refundable deposit to reserve your place in the GB. When the hoods arrive, I will collect the balance from those who chose to only send a deposit. The GB will officially close on Monday, March 12 so that we can get the ball rolling.

I figured most people would just send in deposits since it's probably easier for everyone anyway. Again....there will NOT be mesh included unless I can do so without effecting the price or production time. Maybe it'll be a suprise when you get them....but don't count on it. :p

No, I don't believe there is enough demand for another hood GB. If you're interested in the TS, just shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do for you price-wise.

Pricing at 15 orders is quite literally the basement-bottom level

I fourth the mesh thing....oh wait....I started it. Well, I double vote it, lol. It would make life on a military member much easier Mike ;) I wanna install this when I go home on R&R in April :)

They're going to be shipped out of my Cali warehouse, so local pickup is not an option.

I'm still trying to figure out how long I want to keep this open for. I'm putting in my inventory order at the end of next week anyway, so it honestly shouldn't matter how long I keep this open for. However, if I had to put a time limit on it, I'd have to say Saturday the 17th. I will edit the first post once I've decided on a set date--but the 17th is my tentative closing date.

I read the 1st post twice, so unless I'm blind and missed it..any idea as to a cut-off time for the GB. Essentially how long before the funds are needed? I am 100% interested but would like to hold as long as possible because I have a lot of things I'm trying to sell. About 10k worth of parts, lol. Just lemme know. Thanks,
