Well I was promoted at my job today. Store manager while another manager was out on maternity leave. The only thing is I have to live in Fresno most of my living week for that time. I don't know anyone so I will have no life! Thats the only upsetting thing not to mention I will be away from my Boyfriend and my cats. This will suck! Anyone live out that way? I start my new position next week.

Chris (Snarfy) lives in Fresno. Sometimes (on a Friday), Chris and I meet up at the Denny's in Los Banos around midnight or so. You're welcome to join us.

Eric (Cypher-X) recently new to NT is also from fresno. Nice guy, met him this past thursday. I think he commutes to Pleasanton for Kaiser. Then there are Richard and Dawn. They both own Hyundais, a Sonata & Elantra. Oh and then there is Jason....I think that is his name..owns a silver Tib. I know there are more but just can't think of who they are at the moment.

Anyway, I guess you'd say I'm the most active Fresno member on the boards. I'm far too busy with school and work to make meets or do mods or... hell, even clean my car anymore, but if you want to hit me up when you get out here, feel free to do so. Despite my weirdness and lack of activity I still enjoy meeting other hyundai enthusiasts. PM me or something.

YAY! I am so glad that there are people to hang out with.. I will be pretty lonely out there. My boyfriend will be staying in Sacramento for the four months and that will be really hard, no matter how many times I attempt to plan time off to drive back to Sacramento.

Now all I need is to find a place to stay. They will be providing hotel accommodations, but they really want me to find a furnished room/roommate situation. The part that sucks, is that no one wants a roommate for three and a half to four months. They are looking for longer commitment. So The last few places I called turned me down! ICK!

whereabouts in fresno will your job be? and how far do you want to live from it? i'll can suggest any apartment complexes i am familiar with.

I'll be working in Lady Foot Locker in the fashion fair mall, located on e.shaw. The only reason why i know is cuz i used to live out that way. They wont rent me a studio/1br apt, but they want me to find a roommate because they say its cheaper. Stupid budgets and big time money hungry companies.

Ahh well.. I'll figure something out. I'm not wanting to drive further then 10-15 miles since I'll be driving to and from sac a lot.

look near CSUF, somewhere around 41 or 168. Stay north of Ashlan for safety reasons, stay South of Herndon for price reasons. if you can muster up a roommate, i'd recommend the Crystal Tree Apartments on First and Herndon. 2 bedrooms start ~750/mo, they are spacious and quiet and nice. Includes a covered parking spot, and is 10 minutes from the mall (in traffic).

That will work.. I get off at 3pm next week (maybe earlier if I work a lot this week.. Company hates paying me too much OT so no more then 52 hours a week is what I can work), and that will give me time to give my little car a bath and vacume her out.

So next Saturday, we will say 5pm at the Denny's in Los Banos. It's the one off of the 99hwy between Merced and Fresno.. I don't know the address though :2_redface

The one off 99? The Los Banos Denny's is off of 152. Are we talking about the same one? And if Chris is working on Saturday, we may have to go later. Later in the evening is less crowded, although I don't know how you feel driving at that time.

probabily not.. I take the 99 from Sacramento when I drive to fresno.. I did see one off of the 99 though =).. Later is alright.. I have that sunday and monday off
